Raven is basically the embodiment of strong and silent. He is not one to show his feelings very well and he seems to hardly ever smile. He is a very focused person and prefers to always be vigilant rather to relax and have fun. He can be open at some times, but it is mainly when he thinks no one is looking. He is actually quite intelligent, very well versed in battle strategies and war tactics, but he can have a temper at times. He is working on his anger, but since he just barely realized he has a problem, it might be awhile before he can fully control it. He is loyal to his friends and employers but he tends to be irrational and goes based on instinct rather than based on the actual situation. 

[b]Background/History:[/b]
Raven was born the only child to a dying family line. His father was the only son of his father and his grandfather's brother died less than a year ago. His father was a Knight at Saint Valerius, but was long retired. Being the only child, he was expected to follow in his father's footsteps, which was against what he truly wanted to do, which was become an engineer. His father is his only remaining relative, his mother dying when he was two years old, and he did not want to disappoint him, so he agreed to go and be a Knight at Saint Valerius. He does what he can to make his father proud, though his father hardly sees it at times. Ever since he was little, his father wanted him to be perfect, and somehow he only manages to still see the flaws in Raven, though he is highly ranked out of the Knights, which was something his father was not able to do at his time at Saint Valerius.

Shaw is that guy that you see who looks nice on the outside, but a devil child underneath. He is a major flirt, and it really doesn't matter gender, sexual orientation, or preference of any kind. He will do almost anything to get what he wants. He has the mindset that if he did not put you in the situation, he should not save you, but manages to hide it very well underneath a curtain of lies with why he didn't save you. He is a compulsive liar. He seems to not have a good side, but there are a few who still believe he can change. 

[b]Background/History:[/b]
Shaw grew up in a seemingly happy family. At least on the outside of the house. On the inside, his father came home drunk every night and his mother worked three jobs trying to keep them afloat. Born very attached to his father, Shaw saw as if his father could do no wrong, which came a problem when he began beating both Shaw and Shaw's mother. Shaw knew it would be over soon and that his father would still love him afterwards, but his mother did not understand his blind love for his father. Worrying for both the father's safety and Shaw's, his mother (who is not an intelligent woman), thought it would be a good idea to send Shaw out with his father on his nights, thinking that if his father spent time with him, he would change. 

Shaw was the one who changed though. He copied his father more often, and while the pair grew closer, his mother became increasing worriedly. She decided to send Shaw to become a Knight, as she felt if she could not save his father, she could still save him, which is not likely...
