And to be honest I doubt she'd need much from the companions, except sustenance after major workings, or some blood or cells for healing purposes. So it wouldn't really be a major hang up. it's mostly a curiosity/ I need to know so I don't accidentally get murdered to death by the other characters.

I'd mostly harvest the blood, bones, and organs from the animals we hunt prior to reaching the death filled locations. I can use these to provide a source of highly nutritious food (for El mostly) or magical components.
