Karn was very clearly distracted. It seemed to take a second before she had full attention. "He" also said something in a tone Ariel never heard Karm use before. Cocking her head to one side she tried to work through what she just heard. Who was this in front of her? It looked like Karn but so far hadn't acted or sounded like Karn. Questions were running through Ariel's mind along with several different answers. Most of which couldn't be substantiated without more information.

The train of thought was derailed by Karn asking who she was. Really? Did Karn hit his head or something? [color=saddlebrown]"Me? Did you lose your memory? I'm Ariel. Ariel Gratas."[/color] Perhaps this wasn't Karn. People did have Transformation magic. Maybe someone was pretending to be Karn. If that was the case they weren't doing a very good job.

[color=saddlebrown]"You're not acting like your usual self. Did something happen that I haven't heard about?"[/color] Probably not a good idea to just jump the gun and accuse someone of being an imposter.
