I could change a few things in my history, my character would have been a sophomore in college before the collapse of the government. We actually could have been in the library during the event to lock it down. It makes sense and would follow along well with the my character's personality. (Majoring in chemical engineering you know?) But only if you think personality wise between the two it works. 

Skye would really care for the girl if they were stuck in that situation together, especially with her handicaps. It's up to you though.
