[@ViolentViolet]I was just thinking...so regardless who ends up being your confidant, that relationship offers a fairly wonderful point for drama, a major event occurs where the confidant misreads what you want and you two end up fighting. It allows for decent IC drama, a good chance for characterization,  and she can discover a second person she can be close to. Which offers another chance for drama, the confidant gets suuuuper jealous and tries to drive a wedge between the two. A bit of a small arc, plot bunny right there!
