[@Sarge] He does go looking for temples and does a little training (I am upto date on my NuCanon). Sorry to drop in, not thinking of joining (Not a fan of academies, just lurking). 

Also when it came to Jedi most people felt it was just Propoganda and that he was actually just lucky, need to remember a lot of people don't know what a Jedi is these days thanks to Palps wiping out almost all mention of them.
