Tetsuya Nakano
Tetsuya stood still, watching from his spot as more students filed in. Somehow he hadn't realised, but the "NPC" type characters didn't act like NPCs at all. In fact, it was almost as if they all had their own relations, backstory, personality, the works. It was as if someone had managed to programme a powerful AI based of the entire human race; constantly learning and altering to keep up with everything that was happening. A few more people filtered in acting more like humans than the "NPCs" could ever do, despite their extremely complex and advanced... Programming? Was that really the right word, provided that everything felt so real. Something like what he was experiencing now couldn't have been created through code, could it? He pondered it for a little, before he noticed a girl approach him from out of the blue. Hello! She mouthed, accompanied with a small wave. Either she was just shy, or she really couldn't speak. He stood up from his relaxed position and looked at her. She must have been similar to him; a human. "Hi?" he said, not entirely sure about whether or not she could speak. I'm Rikka She mouthed again, with some almost instruction to what she was saying. It was pretty clear now that she was unable to speak, which made things easier for him. Tetsuya went to raise his hand, but dropped it again when he remembered, or failed to remember in his case. It had been years ago when he had learnt sign language, and he remembered very little. He tried what he could remember, though it probably wouldn't have worked. He put his finger to his chest, and then brought it back out and clenched it with his thumb just over the top. I... Am... And then he spelled out his name, whilst mouthing it in the same way she had. Tetsuya There was no use. Even with his broken knowledge with the symbols, he wasn't going to get anywhere past explaining that he had no clue why they were wearing different clothes. "Sorry, I'm not the best at that... I never really used it and kinda forgot." he said in a slightly quieter tone, "Anyway, I don't really know. There are others around like us, but I'm sorry to say I don't have the faintest of clues. I assume you just woke up here as well, then? Man, I really wish I knew how the hell I got here. I've never even heard of a school complex like this before, have you?" he continued, more or less just trying to keep a conversation going. If he really was in a dream, or even a coma, best to make the most of his time in both the world he was in, and the conversation he was having. [@liferusher]
