Name - Evelyn(Evie) Solak Gender - Female Age - 31 Appearance - Evie is a mix of Turkish and British stock, a combination of dusky yellow-toned skin, olive eyes, and a long mass of dark unruly hair which she keeps pinned back more often than not. She is short, though not markedly different than average, small-boned, and angular. She is made of hard edges and abrupt bends, leaving no room for softness. If not for her height she could have been described as statuesque. Instead loose clothing, like her lab coat, seem to swallow her up, concealing her shape. Everything about Evie is sharp, the cut of her wide set mouth, the steep arch of her large eyebrows, even the almond shaped eyes, which have a piercing quality in the way she turns them on people: thoughtful, curious, absorbed. Occupation - Archivist Inventory - -A lab coat with an assortment of pens in the pocket. -An archival folder with old black-and-white photos. -A lanyard with an employee ID. Brief Character Background - Evie has lived a quiet life working amid "The Stacks", the expansive archive room in the museum that employs her. There she identifies, tags, sorts, and files all of the various information of her region. She works long hours, steeped in the history of her region. Evie enjoys her solitude, the hours spent by herself cataloguing birth dates and death dates, fading pictures, yellowing documents. And most important recently: Her work keeps her away from her husband, the high school sweetheart that she thought she had loved until a newly transferred archive technician started making Evie question her orientation. Now she knows what she needs to do, what she needs to let go, but she's to afraid to do so. Alone in "The Stacks", among the smells of chemical preservatives and decay, she can for a short while ignore the burgeoning truth.
