Due to crappy technology, the layout of the dorm house is taking a while. So for now I'll give a quick run-down of the house. All the bedrooms are upstairs. They're formatted in a grid patters with three rooms on one side of the hall and three others directly across from them. At the end of the upstairs hall (there's only one hall upstairs) is a large, full bathroom. The tub and shower are separate. The stairs at the beginning end of the hall leads straight down to a hallway that lead directly from the front door. The only thing that is between the end of the staircase and the door is a small closet for coats, shoes and such. This hall leads straight across the house. At the end is a door to the backyard, which is fairly spacious (suggestions for what's in the backyard are open). Coming in from the front door, the stairs are to the right. If you go further down the hall an opening to the living room/kitchen opens up. The living room is located on the side closest to the front yard, and the kitchen on the other side. The two are basically connected. The only thing separating them is a bar-like counter that sticks out from the wall. There's also an island in the middle of the kitchen. In the living room, there's a couch, and TV, bookshelves, and a provided desktop. (Laptops can be purchased on your own) If one was to go down the hall from the main door then underneath the stairs to the right is a closet. (Think "Harry Potter" like of layout for the front door, stairs and under-stairs closet). Then on the same side, further down the hall, there's a half bathroom with a closet for storing bathroom supplies. Students are given an allowance for their dorm. This is used to buy food, and supplies for whatever they need. It's a pretty large allowance, however if a dorm wishes to install a large, expensive project (a pool, replacing the tub with a whirlpool, etc.) they need to see Ms. Stern for approval. Sorry for the long post, but hopefully I'll get a layout done to make it easier to understand.
