I'm not ultimately averse to the idea that Jamie could have spent that time snooping around.  A guild with a history with hers would warrant more attention than mere competitors like Iron Enigma, Tough Love, Frenzy Plant, and Pirate Lord.  So it would make more sense that instead of 'knowing everything', which can be translated as godmodding, she simply aimed a specialized and precise operation toward Rider's Blade.
