WIP I'll finish it up after I pick up my baby(dog) from surgery Name: Abigail L.(Lillian) Natas Age: 22 Gender: Female

Personality: Abigail is extremely stubborn, and hates when people tell her what she can or cannot do. Unless she's close to someone she comes off as cold or aloof, but when she truly cares she'll put herself in harm's way to protect others at a moment's notice. Due to a sheltered upbringing she has trouble relating to others, and opening up has always been a problem. Also thanks to her younger days she's relatively ignorant of the world and wants to see everything that was denied to her when was younger. She's crazy over women with long raven wing hair, and has no idea how to talk with them. Devil Fruit:
Strengths-The Dendo-Dendo(Zap-Zap) Fruit Gives the user the ability to generate and fire red electricity from their body as well as manipulate all electrical fields, and electromagnetism from the surrounding area. Weaknesses- *The Dendo-Dendo Devil fruit is affected by standard Devil Fruit Weaknesses. *Since the Devil Fruit's power is mainly electricity, it is powerless against insulators like glass, plastic, rubber, and wood. *Due to the complexity of her devil fruit Abigail's control over her power is minimal and so far she's only capable of manipulating the electrical energy her body produces. Techniques- Dendo-Dendo Snake Abigail holds up her left hand and lets lose a blast of electricity. Dendo-Dendo Python Abigail puts two hands together and lets loose a massive blast of electricity. It's several times more powerful than the Dendo-Dendo Snake, and drains her after use. Dendo-Dendo Rattle Snake Abigail infuses something she's touching with electrical energy which causes bodily harm on contact. She usually uses this ability with her sword. Dendo-Dendo Porcupine Abigail releases a burst of electricity that shoots out from all over her body with sparks travelling up to a foot away.

That looks a lot better :P You've got my approval. If you get Tex's permission as well, you'll be good to go.

[@tex] [@Jensoman] Heh. Alright, well I'll go ahead and do that. And of course, feel free to refuse it if you don't think it's enough. I certainly won't take any offense since I understand where you're coming from~ But for now, I'll assume that you don't want that. xD So I'll start figuring out which other fruit to use. For now, here's what I got:
Roughly a decade prior to the modern day, a Tenryuubito, World Noble family had taken a cruise departing from Mariejois. As one would expect from this family, they cared very little for other passengers, who waited on them hand and foot. One or two of the staff may have even been shot and killed while on the cruise. In this World Noble family, there were two parents as well as one young boy at the age of 8 named Ryu Saitou. Much like his parents and most other Tenryuubito children, he was just as nasty and told his parents to kill any person who slighted or failed to cater to his every ridiculous whim. However, a few days into the cruise, the ship met a very dangerous storm in the Grand Line. Thunder roared and the sea was rough. Under normal circumstances, however the ship would have been fine if it weren't for one major setback. Early in the storm, they struck a coral reef, breaking their rudder. Without the rudder, the ship was impossible to steer and none of the Marines on board were capable of altering its course. On top of this, the Noble family continued to bark ridiculous demands for their own safety, and eventually the ship was thrown by powerful waves against the rocks, destroying it and seemingly every passenger on board. However, the boy, Ryu, awoke to find himself in a strange new cavern on an island in the middle of the Calm Belt, his helmet having been removed or destroyed at some point. When he realized that he was all alone, with no servants to do his work for him, he began to finally explore for himself. He went straight for the mouth of the cave and discovered that he was on a cliffside, with a large rocky outcropping overlooking a valley. He turned his gaze upward...and discovered something that nobody would have ever expected to see. In the skies above him, a few large, winged creatures were flying about. He had actually found himself on an unknown, island of dragons! After a short while, a red-scaled dragon that appeared older than the others soon descended to his landing and approached the boy. Needless to say, the boy was terrified, but had no way to defend himself. However, a voice soon sounded in his mind...the dragon had begun to speak with him via telepathy. The red dragon was an elder among the tribal island of dragons, an island that very few humans have ever treaded due to it being in an otherwise-empty part of the Calm Belt. And any humans that do find their way to the island by boat are usually killed to protect their society. After all, humans were notorious for murder for the sake of sport. However, a lone dragon had found Ryu adrift on the edge of the Calm Belt on a routine hunt for food. Taking pity on the lone human child, the dragon brought him to the island for the elder to decide his fate. And that was where he found himself now. The elder dragon, who called himself To'Ren, claimed to sense something special about the boy and permitted him to live. However, he was not to ever leave the island. At first, the boy was furious and protested even to To'Ren's face, insisting that they return him to his homeland and back to his servants on Mariejois where he could continue his life of luxury. The dragon refused, repeating that this is the only way he could let him live. Ryu, very upset at the dragons, ran away into the cavern, eventually discovering another exit near the bottom of the cliff on the island's opposite side. The dragons moved to go after him, but the elder dragon stopped them, telling them that things would be fine. Ryu, meanwhile, began to cry, for the first time in his entire life...at least as far as he could remember. He let everything out that he could for hours, throwing fits, throwing stones and sticks and kicking trees, all while tears streamed and his voice screamed at the world for doing this to him. Eventually, he drained himself of energy and his voice grew too hoarse to continue his screams. And so, he finally allowed himself to fall to the ground and cry himself to sleep, all alone in a dark forest. The next day, he returned to the elder dragon's cave and spoke with him once again, begrudgingly admitting his loneliness. He had never felt like this before; nobody had ever not tended to him or even denied him anything. His entire life, he had had company...but now, it had simply dawned on him that he no longer had anything. The elder dragon, relieved that the boy had returned safely, the dragon attempted to console the boy, and told him that even if he could return to Mariejois, there would be nothing for him. Those humans would never allow him back once he had been tainted by the outside world. Ryu began to cry once more, but the elder dragon nudged him and told him that he wanted to show the boy something. He urged the boy to climb aboard his back, and they soon took off into the sky. They arrived at the center of the island and the boy was met by a wondrous sight. A huge tree sat in the middle of the island, giving life to the rest of the island. But what attracted his attention were the six fruits attached to the tree's trunk. Each fruit looked identical except for the color. The dragon then explained to him that this was their Great Tree, which he claimed was called Yggdrasil when the dragons first settled the island. The tree has provided life for the entire island for centuries and they believe it has protected them from invaders. The ground where they stand is considered holy to the dragons and a human has never been shown this sight before. The tree's life is prolonged by the six mythical fruit that remain attached to its trunk. The dragons have done their research and concluded that these fruits were all deemed "Devil's Fruits" by the human race, judging by their appearances. The dragon claimed that this island has no actual connection to the history of the Devil's Fruits, but that these fruits were implanted into the tree at some point in the island's history before the dragons ever settled. Nobody knows what these fruits would do and nobody dared to touch one, for fear that the tree's protection will falter if even one is removed. The boy stood in the spot, in awe at the tree before him. Once he was done, however, the elder dragon urged him onto his back and the two returned to their cave. From that day onward, the boy lived with the elder dragon, learning of their culture, and learning how to fend for himself and how to fight. Perhaps most importantly, over the years, he wound up adopting the dragon's ideal of respecting life. The dragon even went so far as to teach him surprising amounts of medical knowledge. In time, he grew to appreciate the elder dragon like a father, realizing that this dragon was a better parental figure than either of his blood parents had been. That said, he still could not help but miss them. Family is still family. Ten years following his arrival on the island, however, everything changed. Marine technology improved drastically and their island was discovered. A lone ship was sent to investigate...a Marine ship belonging to an Admiral of the Navy, who was accompanied by one of the Shichibukai and a sizable force of Marines. The two were more than capable of defeating any dragons that came their way...and their crew were able to drop anchor right off shore. The Admiral's invasion of the island continued, as he defeated each dragon that tried to stop him, not even stopping himself from killing many. Eventually, the two fought their way to the center of the island and discovered Yggdrasil...as well as the six Devil's fruits attached to it. All this time, dragon warriors were telling the elder to stay hidden with the human, now becoming an adult. However, once the Great Tree had been discovered, the elder could no longer sit back. he instructed Ryu to stay where he was, not wanting him to be taken by the humans. Once he had received Ryu's promise, the elder took flight and stood between the tree and the Marines, who began demanding the Devil's Fruits. They even attempted to barter with the dragon elder, claiming that if these "sacred" fruits could be handed over, then no more dragons would have to be killed. They claimed that their official Marine researcher wanted them for their studies. The elder refused, knowing fully well that every dragon on the island would rather die than hand over such a sacred item and hurt their tree. The Admiral, disappointed in the dragon's choice, turned to his Warlord subordinate and instructed him to destroy the tree. The elder dragon fought back, but soon discovered that just the Shichibukai alone was outmatching him. And so, he could not stop the tree's destruction. Both he and Ryu, who had left the cavern and was viewing from a safe distance, watched in horror as the tree began to topple over. But the elder still refused to surrender the fruits. Instead, he snatched the fruits from the tree, and took off. He knew that it was too late to save their precious tree, but the fruits were still able to be protected. He was just barely able to escape the onslaught of attacks from the Admiral and Warlord. Five other dragons gathered together with the elder, meeting at the elder's cave. They knew that they could not protect the fruits together, and that their home was also destined to fall. So they decided to instead separate the fruits and go their separate ways. The five dragons each took a fruit and began to leave. At this point, Ryu had returned to the cave, much to the elder's relief. The elder urged the boy to get on so that they could fly away together with the remaining red fruit. Before he could do so, however, the Shichibukai showed up at the entrance to their cavern, discovering the dragon, the fruit...and the boy. To'Ren knew at that moment that there would be no escape for him. But the young man was a different story. Cornered, he immediately gave the fruit to the boy and told him to escape. However, at the moment that the fruit was transferred to the boy...the Warlord changed his focus and began attempting to kill the boy. To'Ren, however, used his body like a shield and protected Ryu from harm, urging him to flee. But Ryu could not bring himself to run, not as long as To'Ren would die for it. And he knew that as long as the fruit existed, the Warlord would try to kill them both. However, he also could not hand the fruit over, since so many dragons had given their lives to protect it. So, he did the only thing he could think to do. He ate the fruit. Once the fruit was gone, he urged the Shichibukai to take him instead and leave To'Ren alive. The Warlord hesitated, but ultimately was not forced to make a decision. A blast came from behind them, striking a fatal blow to the large dragon. To'Ren had been killed. Then, before Ryu could even think about crying out in shock, he was knocked out by the Admiral. When he awoke, he found himself in Marine custody on some kind of ship, but the Admiral was nowhere to be seen. He soon learned that he was being held on the Shichibukai's ship, heading for a lab where his Devil's Fruit power could be studied. He was locked in by seastone shackles, unable to use his powers, or even learn what they were. However, he knew that he had to escape somehow. He had eaten one of those six sacred Devil's Fruits. He couldn't be used in the schemes of the very people that had invaded and destroyed his way of life. One night, he found his chance. A key, conveniently and carelessly left behind by some unknown resident of the ship rested just out of his reach. However, with a great deal of strain and effort, he was able to use his surroundings and pull the key closer to himself and grab hold. With the key in hand, he unlocked his shackles and made his escape and began making his way to the island where they were currently docked. On he ducked out of sight and made his way off of the ship, he realized something. He had a strange feeling that he was being watched. He turned his attention back to the ship, but could see nobody. Knowing he had no time to think about it, he fled, and boarded one of many cargo ships leaving the island that day. But ever since he left, he couldn't help but shake the feeling that something was wrong. And that convenient key continued to bother him. He had a very hard time believing that anybody could be that stupid. So then...how DID that key end up there? Were the Marines now looking for him? And what about those other dragons that had fled with the other fruits? Well, these were all things he would have to figure out in time. For now, though, it was obvious what he had to do. He needed a safe place to lay low for a while...and what better place than in the crew of a pirate ship? They were professionals when I came to evading the marines, after all. On top of that, he began working with his fruit, figuring out what to do with it and how it worked...all while preparing to search for a pirate crew that would take him. But that was not the end of it. He also hoped that he could keep his Devil's Fruit power a secret for as long as possible. After all...he never knew who he could trust out here in this sea. Any pirate could sell him out to the Marines if it meant a pardon or money. He would have to pick a crew to join very carefully.
In short, he would discover this crew not long after he leaves the cargo ship. He would know almost nothing about his fruit except its most basic use: transforming between human form, dragon form, and a dragon-man hybrid form. However, he also discovered that his wings are incapable of keeping him airborne...or there is a trick to it that he may never figure out without the help of a dragon. Even in full dragon form, he cannot fly, let alone carry anybody or anything. Perhaps he can learn in the future, but definitely not now. Here's his CS if you deem this to be okay with you:
Name: Ryu Saitou Age: 18, almost 19 Gender: Male Appearance: Ryu wears a set of clothing that he stole from the town he escaped in.

Personality: Ryu is a rather reserved individual. He keeps mostly to himself, preferring to spend his downtime reading and learning as much as he can about humans, since he had been away from human civilization for ten whole years. As such, he has developed a fondness for reading and learning new things. He almost always has a book on him that he can read through when he has down time. However, he is still more than willing to cooperate and communicate effectively with crewmates. However, he does still try to keep his past and powers secret. He is most afraid of somebody finding out that he's in possession of a sacred dragon fruit that the Marines would pay high-dollar for and that he would be immediately detained and handed over again. He also fears what will happen if people discover that he is from a World Noble family, as he has discovered what the outside world thinks of the Tenryuubito. Due to his upbringing during those critical stages of development, he has discovered a very strong moral compass and appreciation for life. He does not enjoy seeing lives end, no matter how insignificant it may seem. In his mind, there are only two times when it is okay to kill another life form: for sustenance or to protect other life. He has also decided that, if he is going to live with humans again, he will do it saving life if he can do so. He was raised to respect life and was taught medical knowledge by the one who raised him. And he has decided that he will NOT let that go to waste. Devil Fruit: Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Fire (Draco-Draco Fruit) Ryu is a Dragon Human, wielder of the Fire Dragon Fruit, one of six Dragon Fruits in the world. However, it is very untrained. He currently only possesses a handful of abilities:

He can transform into the three basic Zoan-type forms: Human, Dragon, and Dragon Man hybrid.
In both his Hybrid and full dragon forms, his scales act as a sort of natural body armor. They do not slow him down, but protect him slightly from damage, with the exception of the softer scales that stretch from his jaw and down his underbelly/stomach and to the tip of his tail. These provide no more protection for his body than human clothing.
He has developed the ability to transform any part of his body into full dragon form that he wants. However, only one small part of his body can be transformed at any one time, and it requires effort to maintain that transformation for any extended periods of time. For example, he can turn a hand into a claw or his back into dragon wings, but not both at the same time.
Most notably, however, there are two major aspects of dragons that he has been unable to figure out up to this point:

The ability to fly. Whether it's a limitation of the Devil's Fruit itself or there is something that Ryu just isn't understanding about dragon wings, he is incapable of using those wings to fly. Even in his full dragon form, he is unable to keep himself in the air, let alone carry anything in that form. He will likely only be able to attain this ability if he can ever find another sentient dragon willing to teach him how.
The ability to breathe fire. One of the most well-known of dragon abilities, fire breathing, is impossible for him at this point in time. He knows from his days spent on the Island of Dragons that Fire Dragons are able to breathe a more powerful flame than any other dragon type. However, he cannot as of yet even breath a puff of smoke. He knows, though, that hatchlings cannot breathe flames either, so he figures that this ability may simply come to him in time.
It is also worth noting that his pure dragon form is where he can exert the most physical strength, but his hybrid form has the greatest speed.
Would this work for you guys? If not, it's no big deal, I can find another character to use. But he's a Zoan-type and would work as the ship's doctor, which I feel might be very important to have. xD And he's the only character I have ready that would want to be one. Plus, his backstory would give him so much room for growth, experimentation, and a character arc if desired. So I figured I should run it by you guys anyway, in the hopes that it's good enough. Also, I'll try to have references up for his dragon and hybrid forms if he's approval-worthy. But again, if not, no worries. I'll just use it all for another time~ =3

The main issue I have with this, is that Mythical Zoan type fruits are extremely rare. As you yourself stated, they're also OP compared to Marco's and Marco's ability had high speed regeneration- Until the seastone cuffs completely negated his powers. The fact that he can't fly yet is fair, so no issue there. He may learn flight way later on, but I'm not sure about that one yet. I'm assuming that he won't be capable to high speed heal his wounds like Marco's. If you make sure the fruit doesn't end up being overpowered compared to the rest of the crew, I'd consider allowing it, despite the specific devil fruit type being extremely rare. Do keep in mind that this is before anyone has Haki capabilities. You'd be as strong as Luffy/Zoro/Sanji before time skip by default. I'll discuss this with Tex later, I gotta go work now :P
