Normally, I take a very lax and chill approach to any leadership position I'm in. I tend to keep my mouth shut and sit quietly in the shadows until my voice is needed. But in all seriousness as one of the Co-GMs, I think what's occurring is that there's a fear this RP will somehow die. That it'll somehow die if a 'steady pace' isn't kept and deadlines and time skips have to be utilized for some reason to keep the blood pumping. I understand that a lot of stress may be placed on Lugubrious' shoulders as the head GM. That Lugubrious wants this to be fun and entertaining for all parties involved or at least a majority of the people involved and doesn't want to see it fail. I'm sure we can all agree that Lugubrious wants everyone to be happy but not everyone can be pleased as an unfortunate fact. What I'm saying is I'm placing my lot in... For nothing. No deadlines. No time skips. Let things progress at their current pace. If people happen to leave, then we will bid our sorrowful and fond farewells. Closing the game to new players because truthfully we have an excess of players to keep things going. I doubt we'll experience a mass exodus. What I'm saying is [@Lugubrious], no telling you. Is to stop. Sit back. Relax. Have a general idea of where you want this story to go, but let things freely flow. Come in with a giant flaming hammer to handle any petty disputes with myself and [@Prince of Seraphs] to back you up and provide differing opinions, but let things run wild and naturally. Who can agree with me on this? Because what I'm seeing is an attempt to fix something that isn't broken. Yes, I understand that may allow this RP to be one the largest and longest running games in the Casual Roleplay category, but so what? Hell, that may allow some of us to become something akin to real digital pen pals. I already had an hours long gaming session in Bloodborne with [@MULTI_MEDIA_MAN] and it was by first name basis. It was fun, it felt real. Never heard the dude's voice before or chatted with him really, but through this game I made a new gaming buddy. What say you all? Who agrees with me or can provide a better so-called 'solution' to this? TL; DR = ANARCHY!!! -Raises pitchfork-
