Here's my app, it's nowhere near done, completely unpolished, and still needs major formatting work, but It'll give you a bit of an idea regarding what I'm going for.
Faction Name: The People's Republic of Vesta And Associated Bodies Faction Type: Independent nation (i.e. Corporation, Mercenary Force, anything to sum up your concept in a word or two) Prime Location: Vesta Leadership: Nikita Volkov: The latest in a long line of dictators stretching back all the way to the 21st century. Each leader of the nation is chosen by the last according to their dedication to the nation and it's goals, as well as their ability to judge a person's character. President Volkov is no exception. As a child, he showed exceptional interest in space exploration-a trait which he accredits to the months he spent aboard mining ships with his parents. A tragic mining accident in the vicinity of 9 Metis killed his parents, leaving him (an only child) the last of his nuclear family. His working-class background and devotion to the leftist policies of the PRV caught the state's eye, and he would spend the remainder of his early life in an academy specifically created to foster the development of possible future political leaders. High marks in military and administrative classes made him valedictorian, a prestigious honor for a student at such a school. He was appointed as the overseer of mining operations on 24 Themis upon graduation, and was described by those under him as an efficient leader whom would generally "Use the carrot over the stick" as it were. A notable increase in production resulted, compared to the previous administrator's harsher policies. His abilities weren't squandered by the government, which sent him to various other locations to implement his own policies. After a string of successes over the years, he was made administrator of the entire mining sector. Seeing potential in him, the former President of the PRV (Arkhip Cavallo) tried to include him in as many official functions as possible. He tagged along at every negotiation, always sat on the right during council sessions, and was always right at the front of the room with the President in state dinners. This gained him the nickname of "Cavallo's Pet Labrador", referencing his dog-like loyalty to the man as well as his compassion-a trait which most saw as a major sign of weakness. He ended up using the nickname himself, partially because he enjoyed the idea of being likened to a therapy dog (which he saw as an allusion to his skill at fixing administrative problems) and partially because he just liked dogs. Unfortunately for him, he didn't quite consider the implications of calling himself the President's pet. According to Cavallo's early notes, he was absolutely cunning at all times. The man said that he hid behind a somewhat shy persona, trying to appear as harmless as possible, yet gathering information on those around him at all times. After an extended period of silence, he was known to interject into the conversation with just the perfect remark to defuse it after it showed even the slightest sign of becoming too heated. As the friendship between the two grew, Cavallo found that Volkov was just as good at seeing through people as he had thought. He could always guess when he was feeling, and sometimes even put it into words when he himself could not. Wondering just how far his abilities went, Cavallo organized a test for Volkov: An android would be brought in to his office under the pretense of being the CEO of a corporation seeking mineral rights, but all of it's body movements and vocalizations would be taken from a famous mass-murderer whom later became a Catholic priest to repent for what he perceived as his sins. After many hours of conversation, he agreed to give the fictional CEO of the company (A small one which did, in fact, exist) mining rights. However, he brought up the "man" immediately afterward, saying that he was guilty of something in the past. Not only did he correctly predict that it was likely a crime, he also managed to see that he had done all he could to put it behind him. Which, obviously, was why he saw fit to give him the rights. He did, however, guess that he had likely just pushed his workers too hard, resulting in some kind of accident. Though some might say his abilities are "superhuman", he is in no way a psychic. Volkov was appointed President in Cavallo's will, and the rest is history. He is still well-known for being soft on those below him, and his ability to judge others hasn't decayed in the slightest. It is often said that, were he not so easygoing, he would be an absolute nightmare for anyone trying to pry something out of him at the negotiating table. Despite this, however, he keeps the rest of the Republic on a much tighter leash than most of his predecessors. Assets: Probably the largest section of your sheet. Possible subsections include: IPV Wang Weilin The IPV Wang Weilin-named after the supposed identity of the lone man whom stood in the way of tanks in Tiananmen Square-is the oldest vessel in the People's Space Force, technically dating back to the early 22nd century. This distinction comes both from it's extraordinary performance in battle and it's design, which has proven to be popular over the many centuries due to its highly modular makeup. All but the central "guts" of the ship (Which include the bridge and a long corridor to connect the different parts of the vessel) can be easily taken off and replaced with newer modules. This particular design is the trademark of its class (The Saltsgaver-class), which is the most popular design in the PRV. Recent legalization allowing the export of state-approved spacecraft has let it break out into the rest of human space and compete toe-to-toe with other classes in the market. IPV Eugene Victor Debs Named after the American politician and union leader who was a founding member of the Industrial Workers of the World, this vessel is the largest in the PSF. The concept of its design was the brainchild of Justin Kirk, one of the founding members of the PRV. He demanded that it field a vessel similar to the aircraft carriers used by planet-bound navies, and after many decades, the industry of the nation caught up with his dreams. The result was the Eugene Victor Debs, which carries a complement of attack drones instead of the manned starfighter wings envisioned by Kirk. Aside from being the only "Neo-Carrier" vessel operated by the PRV, the Eugene Victor Debs is famous for being the first ship to come to the aid of 532 Herculina after the reactor meltdown. Haven City Haven City is the capital of the PRV, and is situated on Vesta with the rest of the nation's urbanized areas. It is notable for being the only one which attempts to imitate Earth-like conditions, being enveloped entirely within a gigantic biosphere which simulates the Earth's day-night cycle complete with photo-realistic images of the sky (taken from pristine areas of the planet, for obvious reasons). Despite its pristine, green-filled streets that might remind one of a city back on Earth, it is by far known as the eeriest place in the nation by outsiders. Marquees that would normally be operated by some entertainment company are filled with government reports from around the PRV. -Ships. Reference by name only if having done something famous or in a particular action/mission. Limit 3 'classes' of ship. First come, first serve. Any other ships should be of other players creation. This is to encourage consistency and a common Lore among players in the setting. -stations, bases, facilities. -Special projects. Include any working prototypes and where they are located and whether or not anyone knows about it. (probably not) Projects/Active Missions: Jupiter Referendum Signatory?: (If a corporation.
