Salamon managed to sneak out of the room and followed Angemon through the hallways up until Kaburterimon and the other Digidestined became visible, realizing this most likely meant Angemon wouldn't go out and fight she hightailed it back and ran into the room completely unnoticed as far as she knew.

Hawkmon who did notice the Rookie Digimon leaving but didn't say anything because he knew her reasons was relieved to see her return unharmed and flew over to her while Angemon was talking about the current situation in Digiworld. After the Angel Digimon was finished talking one of the newcomers and his Digimon started arguing, part of Danny wanted to interfere but some had good points and probably needed to work things out for themselves in their own way so he seemingly ignored them.
