I agree that she could've gotten away (I don't mind either way) but that doesn't mean she automatically did.

If I'm in a fight and write 'there would be enough time for him to get away' that doesn't mean I get away, that simply means there's enough time in case I want to get away. I'm hoping you can see my point of view however I don't care enough - I was simply directing Yudai there to give you something to do, if you rather not then that's equally fine with me.
