Widening his eyes and looking more fearful, Tzirret held out a hand each to Ma'tanza and M'ibasa, trying to stand them down. "I-is this needed? Tzir-, ah!" Tzirret was attacked in the sibling's pincer manoeuvre. He attempted to step back to avoid them, but could not dodge through the waist-high water. He had to try and brace to keep his balance, and the biggest impact on his centre of balance came from Ma'tanza. He was not taken by surprise as before, so he was not upended this time, but he still had to put in some effort to resist Ma'tanza's tackle. He stood with his upper body arced towards her, pushing against her. His hands were on her shoulders, but his legs doing most of the work. He tried shifting to throw her off or get more leverage, but that is when M'ibasa's actions came into effect. Tzirret could not employ any effective footwork with the younger brother pinning his legs. The match seemed a stalemate for a short moment, but the first time Ma'tanza shifted her body weight to counter Tzirret's force, he was toppled into the water easily.
