As I said, the choice is yours. We're a welcoming group and fun, but only you know what you can handle. You can also always join in the next Act as well which one of the GMs will notify you when it starts. This might be a better option as you mention college and other stuff. In addition, don't let the length of the story intimidate you. No PC is expected to know everything that happened before as when you join, it's as a new student who likely has only heard rumors or things rather than experience them. Simply put: you don't have to read the IC in any manner or form when joining or making a PC, merely ask the GMs for what's important and we'll give you it. And likely read the OP for more information.
