The Dream Guardian wandered down halls, making his way toward the main medical hall. He was wrapped in his own thoughts, thinking about the message Rue gave him. 'Maybe I'm just overthinking it...' He finally came to that conclusion after running fingers through his hair. There was no point trying to figure out why Seishu would care to send Rue to apologize. It was just kept as him staying concerned with the Balance. Seishu's kingdom was falling, and it wouldn't be wise to cause any other trouble. The Dream guardian fixed his own selfishness and went over to the room the soldiers were being held. Enasi brightened seeing that most of them were looking well, and on their feet. "Wonderful." He smiled and nodded towards the few that greeted him. The guardian approached one soldier who was still laying down and unconscious. "Will he be okay?" His eyes met the familiar sheep doctor who was scribbling something on his chart. "Yes sir. He'll be fine in no time thanks to Crios. There was a hole in stomach thanks to those leeches... But our head doctor handled it fine." There was a hidden hostility in his voice as he spoke of the nightmares who harmed the soldier. "You're anger will solve nothing Iro. Just continue helping our own." The guardian's voice was soothing, showing no sign of anger or rash feelings towards the nightmares. "Pardon me for speaking out Lord Enasi," Iro paused and everyone's attention turned curiously towards the two. It almost seemed as if he was trying to get everyone's attention. "I don't understand the things that are happening lately. You've let the Nightmare Guardian rest here in leisure. I guess I understand it's for Balance, but to be so friendly is highly... Odd." The guardian listened, not showing any signs of being phased. The others gave shocked expressions, some even agreeing with sheep doctor. "Not only this, but you're letting one of our own be around that monster. He is a child, so whatever that monster days will sink into his head. He'll become a tainted dream. This needs to end-." Enasi raised his hand for him to silence. Iro followed orders, though fuming with irritation. "Iro, you are one of my best doctors. I understand you're confusion, but you should know- you should all know, that I have reasons for what I am doing." He looked at everyone, giving a serious look. "We are all aware of the balance that must be preserved, but I am being friendly to my counterpart in order from keeping him angry. Iro, do you realize how many more injuries would take place if the Nightmare Guardian was to lash out, out of anger? Surely you should know. You've been working here for years. As for Rue, he is only a child. Leave him be. He is fine." With a sincere look, he continued. "All I ask...is for your trust... What good can I do if you all don't trust me?" This left an immediate guilty look on the sheep's face. "My apologies Sir. I-I never meant to doubt your actions. Please forgive me." Humbly, everyone else, bowed or bowed their heads in respect. "It's okay. I understand your confusion, it was to be expected. But now that you know, please, continue helping our own and honoring what I say." He received a nod, and Iro turned to do his job. A musical chime sounded twice throughout the Cloud Kingdom. Enasi grinned softly and hurried out. With all that was going on, he almost forgot about the feast! Every time the battles ended, the guardian honored all the soldiers and other staff because of their valiant efforts. "It's almost time, it's almost time!" ~~~~~ "Alright everyone! Get everything set for the feast." A chef yelled out over the commotion of food being created and put into serving trays. "Oh Cho?" Enasi stuck his head into the large kitchen, knowing it was dangerous to go inside the busy kitchen at times like this. The head chef beamed and walked over to the door. "Lord Enasi! It is nice to see you. The food is almost ready, never fear!" Cho was a dream, one of the more human creations of the the realm. He was taller than the guardian, and bright red hair poked out from under the chef's hat he wore. "Actually, everything is being set now. We an ring the second chime now if you like." Enasi laughed as the head chef rambled. "I was only coming to make sure everything was fine. But if everything is ready, we can ring the chime." The guardian departed and watched as food was set out. ~~~ Chimes rang for the second time, and Ensy was sitting amongst the many who worked in the kingdom. From soldiers to doctors to the janitors. From dreams to minions alike. They all stood and looked up as Enasi stood before them. "I won't bore you with the same speech given countless times before, but I'll say this. You all worked hard and fought well. This isn't in my honor, but in all of yours. Without you all, this kingdom- no this realm would fall. So, enjoy! From the best chefs in the Dream Realm!" An uproar of cheers sounded before everyone began to eat and enjoy the festivities. For the few that were stuck in the infirmary, soldiers went in bringing drinks and food for them so they were able to enjoy themselves as well. Enasi weaved through the crowd holding two plates. One for Rue, and one for Seishu. He knew the guardian wouldn't come through and Rue wasn't going to leave his side. So he decided to carry some food to them. Not many noticed him leave, but it wasn't like he wasn't going to come back eventually. "Rue, Seishu~ Here you go." He called, pushing the door opened. "I got it from the party- well obviously. But I'm assuming neither of you had a decent meal. So, here you go." Enasi gave an innocent smile as he handed them the plates.
