You have to wonder if Greece does things to people. Before the Ottomans, the Byzantines were a stupid ttl sicknasty level of decadent court filled with backstabbing kinslayers. IIRC, one of those backstabbing kinslayers payed crusaders on the way to the holy land to help him backstab his kin so he could slay him and take the throne. Dick move.
