I'm not interested anymore. that comment about how its either comedic relief or hero, instead of even considering the two could be together, really doesn't bode well. Plus you think Batmite is balanced while what I have is imbalanced. Yeah... I don't think you have any idea what I'm saying since what I'm suggesting is nowhere near Batmite levels of OPness.
Clearly you didn't read the post. To quote myself here...
Rule Negation Again, if it's hard to explain then it shouldn't even be listed. You want your guy to successfully walk off a building and on air until he looks down only to fall and pick himself back up again... that would kinda fall in the Regeneration power set. We don't need comic relief as much as we need an actual superhero or two. If your guy doesn't have to follow the rules there'd be no point in having them. No character should have that kinda power outside of a GM. Still, I'd tie him to the 5th dimensional imps like Bat-Mite, or a genie from another dimension like the Thunderbolt of Jakeem and Johnny. ~KL~
When I said we don't need comic relief as much as a hero or two, it probably has less to do with your character and more with the fact we already have a couple comedians. NOWHERE did I say Bat-Mite was balanced. Just that if it were my cartoon manipulating character I'd tie him to the 5th dimensional imps or a genie like the Thunderbolt. To be completely clear, you want me as a GM to give you powers that you can't even explain. No GM with any sense could accept that. This is a game about younger heroes operating in Gotham, not 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit: the RP.' I won't go and give anybody reality altering powers so they can proceed to do whatever the hell they want while making a joke of the entire game and the players involved. It's give and take, I can give you a little freedom for the powers that make sense, but if you're unwilling to change some details then you're not likely to get accepted anyway. Trying to put words in a GM's mouth also isn't likely to do you any good. ________________________________________ I'll go ahead and put it this way to anyone who is interested.... I get that a lot of you recycle characters from one RP to the next. I'm guilty of it myself. However, if you're unwilling to work within the rules and CS qualifications of a GM and make an edit or two or rework a characer you've already been shopping around, then you're better off starting your own RP. ~KL~
