[@rechonq] Well... yes and no. The Nexus is useful for moving the Merged's forces around. The surprise attack is sprung, now regroup and organize and the Nexus will allow you to reach whatever realms you need to get to. You could also just leave it and come back later, Asgard was destroyed because there was so much resistance it was easier to rip it apart than to take it. The Nexus is more valuable than Asgard, so it's safer to keep, but it may be easier to abandon it and come back later.
