She is the most confident person you’ll ever meet and she’s somebody who never takes no for an answer. If you do refuse her, she’ll find a way to make you come around. She has a talent for adapting to different situations but she’s also a person that doesn’t trust people easily. She’s somebody that likes to keep most of her story to herself and avoids sharing too much personal information with others. She has the mysterious look in her eye, the top-bitch look that draws you in– she’s simply irresistible. You want to be her friend so bad, whatever it takes.

[b]All About My Past[/b]
Giovanna has always been her daddy’s little girl. Thankfully for her, she’s the only child so the attention was always and only on her. She grew up absolutely spoiled, her parents bowing to her every wish, much like every other kid in the Upper East Side she knew. That’s why her childhood was a very happy and glamorous one, free of worry about the next day and the day after, with absolutely no troubles for the most part. The only thing that caused a little storm in Giovanna’s life was her parents’ divorce when she was twelve. That was also when her mother decided to disappear from the picture but with the fact that Giovanna was never too close to her mother, not much grieving happened. Soon enough she had a “new mother” anyway– a year after the divorce, her father remarried and Giovanna gained a Manhattan socialite as her step-mother.

She has always been aiming to take over her father’s real business but she didn’t start college until she turned twenty. The two gap years weren’t really for some particular reason, it was just the fact that Giovanna didn’t feel like studying right after finishing high school. Two years after that she figured that the things she’s learned about managing the firm through her father were not enough and she could use some more knowledge on the topic. That’s why she started studying management at Columbia University. First she was a bit reluctant, finding the studying after such a break a bit of a challenge but soon enough she sorted everything out and attending classes became something that she would look forward to.

What Giovanna didn’t expect was for the wealthy and glamorous lifestyle to be threatened.  At first she didn’t notice everything but with time she saw the way in which her father would frown at her daily expenses or finally put a limit on her bank account. Turns out that Giovanna’s father made a couple of bad-timed investments that cost him a lot of money and a couple of deals that made him lose even more. Conti Properties suffered and is still suffering a major financial loss and while Mr Conti is trying to save the day, the truth is that Giovanna has to tone things down with the expenses. She acts like it doesn’t even faze her, though. None of her friends are aware of her deteriorating financial situation because she knows how to hide it well. It does require a couple of sacrifices here and there but she definitely makes it work. Her head is still held high like she’s the richest person in the room.
