In Vince's part of town it was a bit more quiet than the somewhat more bustling center of town. Making it quite easy to catch a long nap without being disturbed unless there was some specific exception like something really noisy going on. However that was not the case today, and as Wincent opened his eyes with a loud yawn in his bed and glanced towards the softly ticking alarm clock besides his bed he quickly realized he had almost slept half the day away. Yet in reply to this he simply yawned once more and groaned before heaving himself off his soooo soft bed. It was probably the closest you could ever come to sleeping on a soft fluffy cloud, yet it was always so warm and cozy. After getting out of bed and gaining his bearins to the world slightly, Wincent opened the curtains and both squinted his eyes and shaded his eyes from the strong light suddenly flowing into his gaze. "oww... theeee liiiight... it buuurnnnsss" he joked with himself as he was a bit of a sucker for the vampire/bat pony series. He laughed slightly before going to brush his teeth in the bathroom, he felt like skipping breakfast today as the time were already late and to skip straight to lunch or Brunch felt like more reasonable option. Gurgling as he filled his mouth with water and toothpaste he scrubbed his teeth clean for a while until he got that nice 'sparkle' effect as he made a toothed grin to his own mirror image. After that he simply spent a three second period pulling a wet hoof through his mane and throw it back until it fell into that rather natural spiky formation. "Perfect..." he said to himself and chuckled as he walked through his rather small house and out the front door. Compared to most Pegasi, Wincent was quite down close to earth both literally and figuratively speaking. He lived in a One floor apartment with a cellar, and usually spent more of his time down on the ground than he did flying around. There was of course quite a few good reasons to this, Wincent did not like spoiling the surprise of what the town had to offer today being one of them. Simply walking through town and seeing every-pony going around their business and discover what was new 'if anything' was simply delightful. He really understood why earth ponies and unicorns could live most of their lives down here... it was a bright and colorful place with many scents and sights that you could only take in from the perspective of seeing them from the ground. Above... everything looked so small, and even if you could see far away and many colors on the ground, the sky itself didn't carry all the scents and sounds that the ground did. Besides Wincent knew that he could visit his parents in cloudsdale whenever he wanted, and they could visit him if they wanted... meaning both parts could change perspective of the world if it got too one sided. On the way to town center, Wincent would greet some more familiar faces with hello's and Good Day's. Giving a buddy of his a High Hoof as he passed by and rolling his eyes as one of his older neighbors teased him for sleeping half the day away. "Good Day to you too Mr Smith" he would say as he went to his favorite café. Smiling rather goofily as the rather cute looking waitress came to take his order. "The usual please" he would say rubbing the back of his head while laughing as he somewhere felt slightly embarassed to even have a usual Brunch order, buuut... tried to act cool about it. Sitting there and sipping on a cup of fresh apple juice, he peacefully took in the views of town as he awaited his order. At the same time he wondered if something special would happen today or if it would just be a normal day.
