The Steel Essence Extract will make your flesh as hard as steel for a few minutes. The Flame Body potion doesn't actually turn you on fire, but makes you immune to the negative effects of extreme heat for a short while. You can bath yourself in dragon's fire without nary a worry. You have to drink the entire vials or else you won't even any effects, not even a weaker one. And you can't use both at the same time; you'll just end up wasting them as they'll mix in your stomach and lose their power. I'm sure you'll have some use for either of them during your mission.
