[@Lugubrious] I am by no means criticizing, their behavior just seemed a bit odd to me, I was kind of thinking that if anyone, Aforgomon would be the least interested in getting involved in the mortal wars, simply shrugging and maybe snacking on alien dreams. The aliens are by no means the good guys here, and they were going to die anyway, so rest assured I'm totally fine with what went down. I meant the gods messing with mortals is blasphemy only jokingly, as a nudge that really, that's what they should have been doing, but no one has in forever.

The huge catastrophes are necessary to get us to where we need to be. Once we're there, things won't be nearly so bad. Still have a bit of a ways to go though. Thankfully the catalyst for arc three, which has been mostly merged into arc two, is making an appearance soon. Just need to clean up some loose ends.
