“I’m just… a Common Rider.”
Name: Victor Larson Alias: Common Rider V Age: 21 Gender: Male Alignment: Hero Appearance: Victor stands at 5’10’’ and a slightly wiry frame. His hair is gelled back in a style he thinks looks rather stylish. He typically wears polo shirts and long, thick jackets that extend past his waist. In this case, it’s so he can hide the rather conspicuous belt he wears around his waist almost all the time. In addition to the belt, he wears two bracelets that are linked to the belt.

Personality Victor is a guy that acts as though he can take on the world and more, and follows through on it with an air of confidence. He’s not humble in the slightest and makes it very clear he’s going to make the world know his name, especially to villains and especially when he’s in front of a crowd. One of his number one priorities for heroics is looking good in front of one, at that. Hubris aside he’s not a hero just because it’ll make him famous. He’s honestly a decent guy and genuinely does want to protect people from harm, especially if it means making criminals face the music. Unfortunately, for all his talk about “taking the world by storm” he’s honestly a bit (really) intimidated by enemies that happen to be out of his league. Especially if they gain the edge over him. Powers: Witness… my Henshin!: When transformed into Common Rider, Victor’s physical capabilities are greatly increased, giving him Peak Human Strength and Speed. His durability doesn’t change, though, and it’s only thanks to his suit that he’s able to absorb damage that could easily break a normal human. His stamina doesn’t change either, so he can only keep going for as long as a normal human can as well. Incidentally, the suit is lined with rubber, making him resistant to electricity. Weapons:

Motorcycle: Drives one of these babies. Sometimes he might use it to ram into something if he has to, but he otherwise likes to leave it out of the fight because getting another or fixing it up requires MONEY.
V-Driver: The belt around Victor’s waist. Pressing all four of the gray buttons at once activates the henshin sequence and can only be started if Victor does the correct gestures. The two buttons on the left activate a finisher for Victor himself while the two on the right activate a finisher for his weapons.
V-Batons: Two metal batons that can be used together in a few different ways. Runs on rechargeable batteries to do combinations.

V-Batons: Just using them separately as a pair of dual clubs.
V-Pole: Attaching them together on the flat end of the batons links them together for a weapon with longer reach.
V-Spear: Adding onto the previous combo, twisting one of the batons causes a retractable spear tip to pop out and fold open.
V-oomerang: And adding onto that last combo, twisting the batons and pulling them apart at the same time activates a short link that can lock the batons into the shape of a boomerang. Return is not guaranteed if thrown.

Fighting Style: Victor fights at close range given that his batons still don’t have that much range overall. He typically prefers using his weapons, but he can get down and dirty with his hands and feet if he has to. Either way he’s not very skilled at fighting at all, and tends to just swing, jab, kick, etc. with very little, if any, finesse. Signature Moves: Rider Kick: What is a Common Rider without a kick? Victor presses down the appropriate buttons and sends energy down to one of his feet. From there he gets a running start and does a high jump kick down onto the enemy. Tends to cause explosions after a delay. Rider Punch: Kicks aren’t always an option, so after pressing the appropriate buttons he just sends the energy up to one of his hands. From there it’s just a matter of jumping and punching the enemy really hard. Also tends to cause explosions after a delay. V-Slash Wave: After pressing the correct buttons, energy is sent into Victor’s batons. How exactly he performs the move depends on the circumstances, but the constant is that it sends out a wave of cutting energy into the enemy. Is just as explosive after a delay.
For the past two generations, Common Riders have defended the streets of Megatropolis from crime and tyranny. Victor’s grandfather, Tom, and a small group of his friends started it as an ordinary biker gang looking keep the streets safe for their loved ones. His mother, May, carried on their spirit as their age caught up to them, and with the help of Victor’s father, Henry, they developed the first Common Rider suits to better fight against more powerful foes. Even after they had kids, they continued fighting for a world they can peacefully live in. Victor and his sister Charlotte admired their parents growing up and both expressed interest in becoming the next Common Rider (for Victor, it was if he hadn't become a successful actor yet). They weren’t exactly keen on letting their kids face the same dangers they did, but they didn’t discourage them either. Said dangers finally caught up to them when Victor was in middle school. An old enemy of his parents, Zapper, started wreaking havoc on the city, apparently much stronger than he was in the past. Victor’s parents went out to fight him like normal, but both sides ended up severely injured. Victor’s father was left crippled in a wheelchair while Victor’s mother wasn’t lucky enough to come back in any state from her injuries. Zapper, on the other hand, seemed to have fate on his side and managed to escape without a trace. With Victor’s father unable to walk and his grandfather too old to fight anymore, the Common Riders were no more… Well, that is until a few months ago. Zapper was reported to be active again and Victor didn’t want to simply leave it to someone else to bring him in after what he did. His sister agreed to this sentiment and together they convinced their dad to help them develop an all new belt for Victor, thus creating a new Common Rider. Common Rider V. He fights for justice. For vengeance. …And to get popular. What, did you think he was gonna give up acting to become an avenger of justice? His secondary objective after dealing with Zapper is to ride the waves of popularity into stardom. If he can’t find work properly, he’s decided that his second best option is to build popularity as a hero, and when the time is right reveal himself to the public to hopefully receive work (or at the very least adoring fans).
Skills: Victor is actually fairly good at acting, though at times he tends to get hammy with his roles. He’s also fairly good at dirt biking, having given it a run for a couple years, and tries to translate it over to his ordinary bike whenever he has to ride it into danger. Weaknesses: Victor is still just a normal human being beneath his suit. His suit is basically just a means to strengthen him, so the moment he can’t use it he’s just a guy with a bike. His own stamina is an issue as well, so being worn out too soon is a big deal if he hasn't been effectively scared off from a fight. His own mental fortitude is rather weak as well, so he's very susceptible to any mental or psychic attacks. Nemesis: Zapper, for obvious reasons. (I can make a sheet for him if you need me to.) Story Arc Ideas: -Bringing Zapper to justice Other: -The aforementioned gestures. (The one on the right.) -His family runs a motorcycle shop that he and his sister help out in -His parents henshin’d with a belt much the same way he does -His dad built the original belts, and his sister mostly built his -His sister inherited their dad’s belt, but she’s not nearly as crazy enough to be a Common Rider like him. …At least right now.
