Besides, the power to make dust explode is kinda of specific. I mean, a semblance is an outward expression of your aura, your very life force, it is a physical manifestation of who you are.

Jimmy's original semblance was going to be Teleportation but I decided that his personality, his ideals and his natural love of learning meant that the creative, yet pseudo scientific, power that was Alchemy proved to be a way better expression of him as a character.

Just a thought to have when thinking about your Semblance...plus, who wants something that only works ON dust instead of something that can be used WITH dust.
