Earth. A place where both humans and monsters once lived together in perfect harmony. Humans ended all that with a single spell cast to seal us down here, Asgore thought, attempting to justify his actions, then he attempted to take his mind off of things, thinking, Its a beautiful day outside, birds are singing flowers are blooming. On days like these..... He turned away from the bright yellow flower he had been watering for a good amount of time and moved onto the next. He repeated this process for about half an hour until somebody walked into the room behind him. "Oh, if it isnt the royal guardian!" he said, turning to face the skeleton in the doorway, "What is it?" "Everything's normal, as always," said the short figure, then shrugged, "I cant even think of a pun to go with it." "I can't make heads or tails of nothing happening. It just doesn't make Sans." Asgore said, chuckling at his own pun. The skeleton let out a small chuckle as well, "Good one, I'll remember it." Asgore gave a compassionate smile and said, "Sans, you're off for the day. You can do whatever you want." "Thanks, I was going to go home anyways, or maybe I'll stick around in Hotland, home is a ways away and the boat guy hasnt been here in a while." Sans replied, turning to walk out the door, "See ya later." ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Meanwhile on the surface..... In the sky the sun shined through the clouds, casting a long beam of light on the suburbs at the base of Mt. Ebott, accenting the sprawling cul-de-sacs that wound their way all the way back to the main bulk of the city. Nearest to Mt. Ebott was a small neighborhood of one-floor white houses, each decorated with a personal touch. Not far away, a group of two story modern looking houses sat, lining the road that branched out to the left of Mt. Ebott, not quite meeting the base before becoming a round disk of tar meant for cars to turn around on. Further back, where the buildings were more thick and roads more intricate, a good sized cul-de-sac of larger white houses built in the classical revival style lay, residents bustling in and out of the buildings at what looked like a yard sale near by.
