"Negative, but note the location and time. We'll come back to investigate later. For now we focus on getting out of here." "Understood, I'll continue to the garage." Adrianne replied in her comms as she cast another look past the pillar and down at the room below, just in time to see the last of the house guards as he stepped into the corridor, hit a switch on the inside of the doorway and closed a heavy metal door before the bookshelf began to close behind him. "My power sword could easily get through that... " Continuing through the mansion once the coast was clear, Adrianne found the rest of it to be just as deserted as the former. Minus the occasional bloodstains and damaged architecture, there was practically nobody else to find. Arriving in the ballroom, she found it equally empty. Navigating between the once-luxurious but now messy long dining tables and scattered chairs, she made her way towards a room at the opposite end where she could see two rotating kitchen doors. However, as soon as she had stepped into the middle of the room, she would notice a bright light flare through the tall windows above the ballroom, lighting up the otherwise shaded interior, and the loud roars of a pair of hover engines. "Target spotted; engaging!" A voice could be heard from the outside, before the entire wall and windows was suddenly riddled with heavy bolter fire from the side of the valkyrie hovering outside. The stone walls were turned to dust and rubble within seconds; the windows shattered to shower into the ballroom, as soon the whole dining area became a shooting range as hundreds of bolter rounds blasted apart chairs and floor panels with reckless abundance! Adrianne managed to leap forward as a deadly heavy bolter salvo drenched the floor she had stood just minutes ago. Her refractor field absorbed some of the shrapnel flying towards her from the mini-detonations of the bolter rounds, but Adrianne doubted it would have been able to hold up long against direct fire from the weapon! Sprinting across the dining room with all haste, jumping over tables and darting past chairs, she crashed through the kitchen doors to arrive in a white tiled food preparation area just as the doorway behind her was blown to smitherines by a hail of bolter fire, filling half of the kitchen with dust and rubble! "Adrianne here, I made it to the kitchen!" Adrianne activated her comms to speak, panting as she stood crouched within the kitchen. Fortunately there was no way for the valkyrie to get a direct line of sight on her from outside, the kitche having no windows and was separated by at least a couple of rooms from the exterior mansion walls! "But the valkyrie hovering around the house is definitely not friendly. It's ill temper is only matched by its heavy armaments. I recommend caution."
