She was rapidly suspecting that Pyria was a dragon. The feeling she got from the little girl was just unnatural. Serpica and Al were dangerous, but only in a mundane sense. Sarai had no doubt that she could handle them when the time came - even if 'handle' meant 'run away from' - but she didn't get that same feeling from Pyria. No, the girl felt more oppressive than those two. Then there was Luca, who was handling the situation as well as she expected. Which was not really that well at all. What she didn't expect was for the young man to take what looked like a manacle and throw it into the ground. Sarai wondered what that was about; now that she looked closely, she realized it really was a manacle. Afterwards he gave a pouch of gold to the two . . . adventurers, and walked away from the crowd. Sarai shook her head and sighed. It looked like he was well and truly fed up with dealing with these people. Still . . . Sarai looked at Pyria, the poor Dragon. Her own preservation instincts asides, leaving the girl like this left a bad taste in her mouth; it reminded her too much of when she was thrown away to the monastery, because of fear of her understandings of death. Pyria was just too demanding to handle though, but maybe that feeling of hers was hypocritical? Couldn't the same be said for her and her parents? Caught by between her instincts telling her to leave and her desire to stay by Pyria, Sarai remained rooted on the spot. She jumped a little when Luca patted her on the shoulder. The meaning of the look he gave her was clear enough, and Sarai nodded slowly. Walking towards Pyria, she did the same, and shaking her head, said, "Come, Pyria. Why not just let this go? You don't have to pay them any mind. You're a dragon aren't you? Show some dignity." This was the best compromise she could come up with.
