Haas took a few strands of hair that had fallen in front of his face, then brushed them to the side before answering Cammie's question. "Haas, Haas Mesman! But I don't think you'll be crushing me at all. Let's go!" Haas took the deck from his holder, strapped around the waist, and slid it into his disk. It shuffled the cards automatically before 4000 LP flared up on the display.
Turn 1: Cassie Cassie 4000 LP, 5 cards in Hand Haas 4000 LP, 5 cards in Hand Cassie smirked as she drew five cards from her deck. "I'd say age before beauty, but you possess neither, so I'm going first!" Haas drew his own five cards, and flinched at the sudden unprovoked comment. "H-Hey... That stings..." they whined, before letting Cassie get back to her turn. She looked over her hand. Not bad, she thought. I'll start off with the Spell Card, Terraforming. This'll let me add one field spell to my hand." A card slipped out her deck that she quickly slapped into her field zone. "I activate UA Stadium! This thing has two effects, one which I'll get to right now." The area around them changed into an open air arena. The field underfeet was dark green with pale green tron lines coursing through it. A 2-D PS2 crowd appeared in the stands, cheering and yelling. A flash of light appeared beside Cassie and from it emerged a man dressed in what looked like high-tech orange and grey sports wear. He had a pair of shades, a slick helmet, and green tron lines running throughout his outfit. The field reformatted into a soccer field with Cassie in one goal and Haas in the other. A white soccer ball seemingly made out of energy appeared at the feet of the soccer player, who began doing juggles. U.A. Midfielder: 1200 ATK 1000 DEF Level 4 EARTH Warrior Cassie's opponent looked around in wonder as the entire field morphed, considering they were still playing on an uneven field of seats. The heightened steps flattened out, and part of their field was suspended in mid-air. Two goalposts caught Haas offguard, and hell, even his outfit changed to that of a soccer player's! Midfielder acted all smug, showing off his mad skills with that soccer ball. "Wow... That's one impressive field spell! Alright, show me what you've got!" Haas gave an eager grin, nodding at Cassie to continue her turn. "This is Ultra Athlete Midfielder. He's not gonna do much now, but since I normal summoned an Ultra Athlete my field triggers, letting me draft one from my deck to my hand." All around the stadium holograms of a bulkier Ultra Athlete with big gloves appeared with #1 Draft Pick beside it as another card slipped from Cassie's deck. "Next, by returning Midfielder to my hand I can special summon the athlete I just drafted. Midfielder disappeared and in it's place was the bulkier athlete just seen, crouching with it's hands up. He became outlined in orange energy. U.A. Goalkeeper: 1000 ATK 2800 DEF Level 6 EARTH Warrior "This is UA Goalkeeper, and he's gonna make sure nothing gets past him come your turn. Now the second effect of my field activate. When a UA is Special Summoned, all of my monsters gain 500 ATK, though this doesn't matter yet since my Goalkeeper is in defense mode. I'll set one and end my turn. A facedown appeared behind Cassie as she passed to Haas. Turn 2: Haas Cassie 4000 LP, 3 cards in Hand, 1 Face-Up Monster, 1 Set S/T, 1 Field Spell Haas 4000 LP, 6 cards in Hand "Alright, My turn! Draw" Haas drew his first card with gusto, not to be confused with the archetype, before proceeding to scan his opening hand. Aw, damn! This wouldn't help him with that huge wall blocking his way... Maybe it'd be best to play it safe? "I'll set one monster, and two cards behind it for protection." Haas annoucned, sliding all three cards in their respective slots. It was a little ugly how those brown backs materialized above the lush green grass, but at least the Spell/Trap cards vanished into thin air. The face-down card took position in front of the goal, attempting to prevent one from being scored. "Sorry, that's all I've got. Turn end!" Turn 3: Cassie Cassie 4000 LP, 4 cards in Hand, 1 Face-Up Monster, 1 Set S/T, 1 Field Spell Haas 4000 LP, 3 cards in Hand, 1 Set Monster, 2 Set S/T Cassie drew for her turn. Her nostrils flared as she looked at the card she drew. I don't need this now. She took another card from her hand and slapped it down, Midfielder reappearing beside Goalkeeper. "I'll summon Midfielder again, triggering my Stadium again..." Surprised that Haas didn't respond, she took her deck out of her disk and fanned it out before her. Dunker would give me the most damage and let me pop a card, but Slugger is the safest option in case those are traps that can be used in the Battle Phase... "I'll add Mighty Slugger to my hand, then bounce Midfielder to summon it. My Stadium also triggers it's second effect, giving both of my monsters a boost." The soccer player disappeared and in it's place was a futuristic baseball player holding a bat. U.A. Mighty Slugger: 2300 ATK 700 DEF Level 6 EARTH Warrior "ATTENTION!" Haas suddenly shouted out of absolutely nowhere. Both U.A. monsters seemed to flinch and react, stomping one foot on the ground and raising their hands to the forehead in military greeting. "U.A. Goalkeeper! That is no form to take! But that doesn't matter. Keeper! You're dismissed." Haas finished his orders, U.A. Goalkeeper looking confused a bit before geting blown to smithereens from a row of explosions that neared him. On Haas' field glowed the trap card, 'Attention'. "Hehe... Sorry about that! Since Goalkeeper's a different level from Slugger, it's destroyed." Cassie puffed her cheeks in frustration. The field reformatted into a baseball pitch. "Well that doesn't matter because my Slugger still gains an extra 500 ATK! Also when he attacks you can't activate anything. Battle Phase, Slugger take out the facedown!" U.A. Mighty Slugger ATK 2300 -> 2800 Slugger's bat connected with the card, revealing a rather cartoonish looking animal get it's head bonked in. "Tch... Normally, I'd get a second Hyena, but it's effect is negated." She smirked as her facedown flipped up. "Call of the Haunted revives my Goalkeeper, then he attacks!" The Goalkeeper returned and rushed the exposed Haas. "No he won't! I activate Negate Attack!" Haas' own face-down flipped up, and a shield of wind started circling around him. Goalkeeper might have tried to break through it, but it would have been futile as the barrier is to strong. Cassie furrowed her brow and looked over her hand "I'll end." Turn 4: Haas Cassie 4000 LP, 4 cards in Hand, 2 Face-Up Monsters, 1 Face-Up S/T, 1 Field Spell Haas 4000 LP, 4 cards in Hand "Alright, My turn! Draw!" Haas drew his card, then looked over his hand with a smirk. He knew that he had something good right here. "First, I'll start off by summoning my Wind-Up Soldier!" The boy slammed down a card on his Duel Disk, a little raindbow-coloured vortex opening up in the ground. Out of it climbed a little green toy soldier, with a magnet for a head. It looked around a bit confusedly, then spotted U.A. Mighty Slugger. Then it stood still in fear, raising up their tiny hand for a friendly wave in order to appease to their new overlord. Wind-Up Soldier: 1800 ATK 1200 DEF Level 4 EARTH Warrior "I'm not done, though! Next, when a Wind-Up monster is summoned to my field, I can special summon Wind-Up Shark from my hand!" Another vortex opened up... Above Soldier? And out of it, a little toy shark popped out... And crashed right into soldier. Soldier crumbled liek a piece of paper, and Shark is flopping about since there's no water for it to swim in. Wind-Up Shark: 1500 ATK 1300 DEF Level 4 WATER Fish Then, a cosmic force seemed to awaken in the middle of the baseball field as a swirling mass of what seemed to be space opened up inside the floor. "Alright, here we go! I'll use my Level 4 Wind-Up Soldier and Wind-Up Shark to construct the overlay network!" Shark and Soldier seemed to have been relieved of their struggling, now turning into two swirly lines of both brown and blue. They jumped into the vortex, swirling together until finally a flash of light. "Supreme toy master, descend upon your apprentices now and show them how it's done! Xyz summon! Rank 4, Wind-Up Zenmaister!" Out the flash of light came quite the colourful construct, with motifs of white and green plastered all over it. It had a pyramidical bottom, which was atttched to three jets that seemed like they could shoot the toy all over the place. A T-Shaped building block connected to it, with two half-gears for shoulders and a fairly standard white-and-purple head considering the rest of it.t. Wind-Up Zenmaister: 1900 ATK 1500 DEF Rank 4 EARTH Machine Haas couldn't hold himself together. A childlike smile sprawled across his face as he summoned a new monster, his first Xyz summon! "Alright, ALRIGHT! Let's do this! Zenmaister gains 300 ATK for every overlay unit, but I detach one overlay first!" One of the two orbiting balls of light around Zenmaister crashed into it's chest and revealed a flash of light. Wind-Up Zenmaister ATK 1900 > 2200 "And now it turns your Slugger face-down!" Haas proudly spoke, Zenmaister raising up his hands and... Punching the floor beneath him, causing their card to flip up and hide beneath it. The overlay unit didn't know where to go, so it just sort of circled around the face-down card. "...Huh? What?!" Haas reacted, not understanding what just happened there. "Why did my Zenmaister turn face-down?!" Haas picked the card up from his duel disk for a bit, then proceeded to read it. And then they discovered it only works on his monsters. "...Oh no... I set one card and... End my turn..." Haas spoke in a defeated tone, one card materializing on the baseball field before Zenmaister returned face-up. Turn 5: Cassie Cassie 4000 LP, 5 cards in Hand, 2 Face-Up Monsters, 1 Face-Up S/T, 1 Field Spell Haas 4000 LP, 1 card in Hand, 1 Face-Up Monster, 1 Set S/T Cassie tried to suppress her laughter. Actually it looked like she was genuinely smiling for the first time since she got here. "Well now, that was an interesting development. Draw!" She drew and once again gave a dissapointed look at the card she drew. "Don't need you either. I'll summon my Midfielder yet again and trigger my Stadium's search effect." She quickly added Dreadnought Dunker to her hand, then tagged the Midfielder out for it." U.A. Dreadnought Dunker ATK 2500 -> 3000 Level 7 EARTH Warrior U.A. Mighty Slugger 2800->3300 U.A. Goalkeeper 1500 > 2000 ATK Cassie gave a cocky smirk. "Any last words?" "Uh... Spell card Activate?" Haas questioned with a goofy smile, activating his Legendary Wind-Up Key as a bit of a joke. It wouldn't save him, even if it did go through, but she did ask if he had any last words. Zenmaister punched the floor again, waving goodbye to the atheletes before cowering under it's cardback. "Not gonna lie kiddo, you got some guts. Maybe you'll last longer against me next time. Goalkeeper, take out the facedown Zenmaister." The Goalkeeper rushed the facedown card and barreled through it leaving Haase wide open. "Slugger?" Slugger threw a ball up into the air and slammed it with his bat, making a satisfying crack as it soared through the air and connected with Haas. The contact was even sweeter, hitting them right in the face and leaving a red baseball mark. The field reformatted into a Basketball court with a net hanging above him. Haas LP 4000 > 700 "And now you Dunker, finish him off!" Dunker dribbled the ball and sprinted up the court. He leapt, passed the ball through his legs and slammed it into the net, the ball falling down and hitting Haas in the stomach. He doubled over and hit his head on the floor, letting out a quick "ow." when he did. "GET DUNK'D ON SCRUB!" Haas LP 700 > 0
WINNER: CASSIE

Haas saw ducks and stars after the collision with the floor, his head rolling from one side to another. "Dad, izh that you?" they fumbled out, before quickly shaking his hair side-to-side. A hand was offered to him.The boy jumped back up with energy after accepting the hand, stretched, and then sarted laughing. "Told you I didn't stand a chance!" They added with a smile, not really minding the loss all that much. It was fun to him at least. Cassie had a softer outlook then before though seemed quite frustrated. "Maybe it was silly of me to think a boy like you could satisfy me. Aw well, at least that mark on your face makes you look a bit better." Shot through the heart, And Cassie's to blame. She gives duelin' a bad name, bad name... Haas scratched the front of his right cheek with his index finger a bit, embarrassed about both the baseball and his quick loss now. "Ah... Well, I tried didn't I? And here I though I wasn't fashionable with red..." He let out an exsaperated sigh, then let out another chuckle. Haas took a look around to see it was getting dark, so it'd be best to go back tothe tower before it started freezing. "Hehe, It's best we get back though. I had fun, at least. Maybe I'll see you around some more!" the boy cheerily tried to promise the girl, then walked past her while waving his hand. "Later!" he let out to Cassie, walking away from the arena and back to the tower.
