Evelyn never dared to let anyone near her, to see inside her years of torment, years of damage that turned her heart cold and black. The bitter persona she displayed was like a scary Halloween mask, but ever slowly as she met Yasmin, that mask began to peel away, and with it all the layers that guarded a wounded heart, a heart...that slowly healed. Tonight, she wanted to relinquish it all to Yasmin, every last ounce of love she had long forsaken. (Now would probably be a good time to fade out >>;)
