First, when Pyrrha created her magnet blast, it not only forced Penny's swords backwards, it also tried to force her backwards herself. Because she's heavier than the blades, she managed to keep her feet, but the polarity froze her systems long enough that she didn't have time to react before the impact. THAT'S what was meant by "held in place". Second, one of the strings came at her laterally, while the other came at her vertically. Since both are connected to her back, there's no way she could have dodged both. [/hider]
