That she is held in place by magnetism is debatable at best. a) Pyrrha's blast forced the swords out, so it should have done the same to Penny. As to why it didn't, your guess is as good as mine, might have soemthing to do with aura. b) Penny straightens up right before the strings start to wrap around her. Not very consistent with being 'held in place' imho.

Her being able to see what was happening has nothing to do with her ability to dodge it. The strings are attached to her, she can't get away from them. If it was one or two swords that an enemy took control of maybe but it was more like a hundred of them. I'm sure she could see what was happening very clearly, she knew she was going to die sooner than an average human would have, very true.[/hider]
