Thanks for the compliment. 

I'm going for a different method regarding the handling of my character. Such as treating him as the hero of his own story that crosses paths with this story. And that makes for some interesting conflict given that he has his own very clearly defined motives and desires that will in fact conflict with the others who may be more focused on the goal. Also I have like most of the time purposely withheld information over him, as I am not a fan of putting too much detail in character sheets.
