Oh, you! I'll find you in one of those buildings and katana you right in the fruits, Piggu.
So a Jap walks into a BAR...
Jesus, [@Dervish]. I'm glad to hear the treatment is working.
Tell me about it! I'm hoping the doctors are going to go over the last MRI tomorrow and decide when to kick me out of here and give the bed to somebody worse off than I am. But thanks for your concerns, I have lots of reasons to get better and go home. On the plus side, short term disability from work should give me plenty of opportunity to keep myself healthy until they gut me like a fish.
Filthy pig-iron katana is no match for glorious Soviet engineering
Da, tovarich. Also, I need to buy more food for my Mosin. I found I think Czech surplus for about 240 bucks for about 700 rounds, I just need to figure out if it's corrosive or not because I prefer not to clean my bolt action rifles every time I go shooting.
[@Dervish], I hope you either get better sooner than expected or that you get better than expected right on time.
[@Leidenschaft][@gcold] I am debating the potential benefits and risks of having Utu become isolated behind enemy lines and forced into the water. Here he would be able to use his dagger and ambush tactics to grapple any of the enemy that were beside the water with their backs to it and let the water finish them. However, he would be unable to rejoin the rest of the mercenaries for some time. This could be useful for plot but also potentially awkward.

Thanks, bud! Hopefully glorious healing is working. Too bad this shit wasn't like Elder Scrolls where you kind of waltz into a temple, dick slap a shrine, and you're cured of all ailments. Unless you're a filthy vampire, because apparently the gods forsake you if you don't want to enjoy human blood smoothies on a bi-nightly basis.
Can I just point out that this RP started 3 months ago, and we already have 92 IC posts? I don't think I've ever made it past 40-50! This RP is like a heavenly playground full of writing adventure for me (: I've never been in any RP where the players are as dedicated to the RP as this one, could just be the fact that its Skyrim-related, and there's a deep thirst for it, but truly, this RP fucking rocks my socks. I love you guys. All of you.
From personal experience, I find that people who like roleplaying Elder Scrolls have been by far the most committed and enthusiastic of any roleplay theme I've been a part of. Shafty and I were running a few RPs together for years and they were going super dooper well until people just collectively decided to not post for a number of lame ass reasons. The fact this RP is going at this pace while we're in the middle of a school semester tells me that the people here either don't have nearly as bad of school commitments, or just really good time management skills. But d'aww. I hope I fit in with the gang and help craft the bestest story ever. Of all time. Making some friends is also a win.
Can't say I know what it feels like, but I'm with you. You can probably ask your boss for more paid sick days. I know someone having Crohn's and she got a three-month paid leave. Not sure which hospital you're staying, but some let do let pets in. There's a new trend with animal therapies, might be worth looking into. Anyways, stay tough, we're behind ya. [@Leidenschaft] Put me in the PM list if you haven't started. Need to keep my little minions under watchful eye. It's possible, but only for a short duration. That would happen as a short collab between you and I, something around hours, IC time. Thank you, thank you. :sun
I appreciate that, and I'm doing pretty good the past few days (especially since I got the feeding tube out of my nose; hooooly shit, NEVER AGAIN. I've been CS gassed, which is a riot control gas, in the army, and I found that infinitely less panic inducing as getting a tube shoved down your nose, throat, and into your stomach), so hopefully I'll be out and acting like nothing wrong happened before you know it. The support is nice, and I sincerely hope none of you guys have to go through what I am. Makes trying to be healthy and active hella hard.
