I know everyone is freaking out that Gren has the possibility of being a mobile nuclear disaster, and to be frank, that's kinda the intention of this is discovered IC. I want to see how people would react: Would they see Gren as a threat that needs to be destroyed? Or will they try to help him go for a cleaner, less dangerous alternative? Because I will admit: Gren likes power. He likes the idea that even in his weakest state, he could destroy many people, and many things. The fact that he keeps it a secret is one of the reasons he's seeking Sapphire's position of leadership because he can't be open about how dangerous he can be, like how he was back when he ran with the White Fang. If anyone bothers to try to interact with him and know this side of him, they can chose for themselves if Gren is a dangerous maniac that needs to be put down, or maybe he has issues that need to be addressed and convince him to let go of his power-hungry rage boner. Hell, the whole reason I even bothered to mention it OoC is to see how people would react to it. And from what it looks like, there is a lot of fear and hatred for what Gren is. For whatever reason. What will you do about it?

Frankly speaking, aside from trying not to be open about it Gren hasn't really bothered to try to hide the fact he's a Cyborg. He's already a hulking, bulking orc wearing his armor almost all the time, and has rocket boosters coming out of his armor. Now maybe being a walking nuclear reactor would set off more alarms, but I figured Ozpin wouldn't judge someone for who or what they are. But it's not like he's the final word for admittance into Beacon or anything.
I get what you're going for, but beneath the psychological implications I can't unsee a really well thought-out excuse to make the most powerful character in the RP even more ludicrously powerful. If you put the fact that he has a potential nuclear bomb in his chest in his sheet, I would not have approved it. It's just too ludicrous. He wouldn't get into the school. When something is OP and nonsensical, the people who are saying it's OP and nonsensical aren't being intolerant/judging someone for who or what they are. Being a walking warhead is not a maybe setting off alarms thing; it is a definite thing.
[@Prince of Seraphs], [@Lugubrious], [@Lucius Cypher] - Alright, well since this is becoming a slight problem. What say you to rewriting Gren's "nuclear reactor' to something akin to a Soul Drive/Solar Furnace/Dust Core?
We don't need to put it to a vote. It's denied almost unanimously. The only voice arguing in favor of this change is Lucius himself. Lucius, I do regard this as a change because it was never told to me privately or put in the CS. Looking it over, the CS doesn't enumerate any lusts for personal power or gratification in the idea of being able to kill anyone around him at any given time, nor anything that implies them. At the very most it's describing a possible unintentional tendency to take charge of a situation. Gren's been exhibiting a pretty powerful violent streak and disregard for morals and others' wellbeing since mission 1. While on the topic your character, Prince brings up a very good point. Exactly what is Gren's weakness? He has the most firepower out of any character in this RP, potentially, as well as state-of-the-art armor, aura defense despite having next to no organic parts in his body, a semblance that is capable of crippling anyone's movement, and numerous other benefits. Up until recently, we didn't know a great deal about Penny. We still don't know exactly what powers her. Keep in mind, the scientific and technological development as well as funding of an entire kingdom's government went into her creation. How is Gren, who could shrug off everything Penny could dish out and crush her, so immensely powerful? The White Fang's Bullheads couldn't hold a candle to an Atlas carrier. I can't help but feel as if the liberties you are taking are a bit too numerous. I've been okay with Gren's level of power for a while, given that there's simply got be a strongest character, but strengthening him retroactively is causing klaxons to go off in my head. I hope I'm not the only one who's getting the impression, based on your taking an already powerful character and making him even stronger and saying that people who disagree OOC or IC are being intolerant of 'who he is', that Gren's a bit of a Marty Stu. A well written one, but one nonetheless.
