I typically read old Greek and Medieval stuff when I get bored and am feeling philosophical. Most people would just take the stories as typical legends, but what they fail to get is that they're often written to convey a message or an important question. Falls from glory, a loss of everything, catharsis is intriguing in general."

Gabriel looked at the title once again, and then back to Kijani. He hadn't gotten her name yet, but he was surprised that she had been willing to keep up a conversation with him. Most people wouldn't even bother, kind of like that Phoebe and Ryan couple he met earlier.

Something like this was a first, Gabriel rarely went out of his way to do these things.
