“Easy, tiger,” Jeremy chuckled, pulling her shirt over her head. He handed her the jeans she had peeled off earlier and waited for her to put them on. He looked at her, clearly being engulfed by her seduction. He kissed her slowly and then reached for the wallet for his pants. He left enough on the counter to cover the tab and tip and threw his arm around her shoulder. “We can go home, darlin’,” he breathed the words into her ear as they both slowly made their way out of the club. He seductively placed his hand around her neck and squeezed as he kissed her one last time before exiting. Jeremy reached into the pocket of his cut and pulled out two cigarettes. He lit them both at the same time and handed one to Tallis as he heard the sound of a motorcycle riding down the street the club faced. Figuring it was someone from the club, he looked on innocently until he saw different patchwork on the cut that the biker was wearing. This made him tilt his head in drunk confusion until he saw the gun the biker was holding. Jeremy pushed Tallis down onto the ground and reached for the gun secured at his lower back, but he was too late. One shot hit his abdomen and another at the top of his arm. He flew back, making a loud thud on the ground as the driver sped off. He grunted as he pulled up his shirt, revealing the vest that absorbed the bullet to the stomach. But his arm began to drip out on to the sidewalk as he laid there for a moment. He laughed for a moment before looking back at Tallis, who was still on the ground. “You alright, love?” ------------------------------------------------- Kaci’s words made him frown as she spoke. As she finished, he crawled up in between her legs, resting his arms and head on her stomach. “Oh, K,” he sighed. “I don’t want some hardened old lady. I don’t want someone who doesn’t flinch at the talk of cocaine and murder,” he laughed. “You must think I’m some tough guy, but I’m really not. You’ve heard me have nightmares. I’ve never killed someone. I’ve cried when a girl has dumped me.” He smiled and looked up at her. “But I will kill you if you tell anyone that.” He made his way up further until he kissed her, and then rolled to the side of her. “Don’t let Tallis get you down.”
