SPECTACULAR!
Welcome to Archer City, housed right in the lovely state of New York. Newly minted, and bigger than The Big Apple. What could go wrong, right? Anyway. Things have been pretty swell here-- when the super villains stay away, anyway. But we got a whole host of superheroes at our backs to keep 'em off. Heck, it's practically an american pastime to watch the Heroes do what's right. What could go wrong? Hello, everyone! This is Spectacular! A more lighthearted sort of superhero RP.
City Districts

(more may/may not be added!) Entertainment District: Located in the heart of Archer City, the Entertainment District is where the party's at! This is where a whole bunch of Movie Theaters, regular Theaters, and some radio stations are. Arguably the most well known area of Archer City, if a supervillain wants to make a bang, he'll make his introduction here. Waterfront District: The waterfront district really has two parts- The Docks, and The Beach. The Beach is home to firework shows and lots of fun under the sun. Days where people aren't on the beach are very rare, the weather's usually fantastic. The Docks are a bit of a different story. Lots of shipping crates and old, abandoned warehouses(which, in itself, is amazing that they're already abandoned. I mean, the city's only a few years old.). More than once, villains have picked various warehouses as their base of operations. The Wrecks: A few blocks of destroyed buildings from when a gigantic monster attacked a few months ago, no biggie, though. No casualties. Anyway, this place is mostly home to skaters and graffiti artists now. They're all usually pretty chill people. Downtown: While it's not actually 'downtown' in terms of directions, Downtown is where the Police station is. Additionally, you'll find Archer City Prison- it's been specially upgraded to house all the baddies the heroes round up. Uptown: In Uptown, you'll find a lot of high rise buildings- not quite as many as the entertainment district has, though. Buildings in this area tend to be more office buildings than not. But, this district is where Crystal Tower is located, home to the legendary superteam, the Infinite Knights! You'll also find a few old factories in this district. The Burbs: Good old suburbia! Located all around the outside of the city. The Kenny District: The Kenny district is, by all accounts, a strange place. It is occupied by only one man. Kenny. When the city was being built he declared the district his own, and it's been that way ever since. This is because Kenny can clone himself. Thousands of Kennys inhabit the Kenny District. That said, they're all pretty nice guys. Some might presume that Kenny is a super villain, but this would be false, as he really hasn't done anything evil. Except, he only asks that once a month, every month, a shipment of bagels is delivered to the Kenny district. No one knows if they eat them, or do something else with them...

Notable Groups and People

(more may/may not be added!) The Infinite Knights: The Infinite Knights are the world's top superteam! However, after stopping the gigantic monster attack a few months ago, most of them are away on a space mission. Only a few token members are currently on earth. The Police: The Police are all pretty swell. They tend to be very helpful towards heroes, and sometimes even provide them with equipment. The High Roller Gang: A gang of the rich and powerful. Most of their crimes are business related things, but sometimes they’ll fund a heist and superheroes can intervene. The 7th Street Gods: A typical street gang. The Mobius Club: A group of supervillains form The Mobius Club, headed by an enigmatic Mr.Mobius. The Heroes: A much smaller, very new hero group. They haven’t got many members.

Rules
 1. The better your CS, the more powerful I’ll let your character be. That said, there’s no hard cap on character power, but try to keep it towards Spiderman level and you should be fine. 2. GM’s word is law. 3. No godmodding, powerplaying, using other people's characters, etc. 4. Shooting for a softer PG-13/PG here. For reference, think if it would be acceptable in the current running Spiderman cartoon, or the Justice League Unlimited cartoon. That said, swearing is allowed, just try not to go overboard. 5. I expect posts to be at least a parapgraph. 6. If you’re reading, put the word ‘Spectacular’ at the bottom of your character sheet. 7. Obviously, no Mary/Gary sues. 8. Try to keep activity. Posting once a week should be fine. If you’re going to be absent for longer than that, I will assume responsibility for your character. Alternatively, you can tell me if you’d like another RPer to temporarily take the character’s reins. 9. No DC or Marvel characters. Please and thank you. 8.Put your character in the OOC tab. Once it’s approved, it may be moved to the Characters tab. 9.Yes, yes you can be a villain. I won’t be accepting too many, though.
Character Sheet
Name: Alias:(if applicable) Nickname(s):(if applicable) Alignment:(ex. good, evil, neutral) Age: Gender: Powers:(if applicable.
