It had been a close call for Alex down in the archives. Certainly he hadn't been expecting that he would be confronted before he had gotten what he wanted from this place. Fortunately he had managed to convince them that his presence was not foreign, that he had some purpose in being there, and that had gotten them to go away and leave him be. But it had ultimately been worth it in the end, as his investigation got him an old scroll, detailing the location of possible treasure deposits n Arcadia. Whether it had been explored or not was another matter, but he had a feeling that the more difficult areas had yet to be looked into. That was good, as far as he was concerned. Sure, it was no map to the Citadel, but if he could get one of those Relics then it would make his job that much easier later on. With the scroll in his possession he slipped it into a bag and made his exit. The confrontation meant that he had been noticed, and he would rather not stick around if he had to. With how crazy things were, he didn't need to draw undue attention to himself. As a thief, that sort of thing was bad. "Now then, I just need to get to Arcadia," Alex muttered to himself as he walked the streets of the capitol. He had gotten some time to think on it, to collect his supplies as well as his cash, and now he just needed to get to his destination. That was why he was headed to the port, so he could snag an airship to Arcadia. Overall it wouldn't be too difficult for him, as far as he was concerned. He had hitched rides before, and either he would work it off or he would just sneak before. That was a part of his skill set after all. It was just a matter of how things looked when he arrived, and he was ready for any eventuality as he neared. He was ready to go on a trip.
