At the very least, he wasn't happy about it. Their relationship had never been smooth in the first place. The two of them had completely different tastes, they wanted different things. However, it was always Julius who had gotten his way without exception. Not only was he a manipulative jackass who loved getting his way, Addy actively avoided confrontation altogether. Imposing his will had been so easy. Retrospectively, it wasn't surprising that Addy had left him for that. He could see his fault, he really could. However, he still believed this was not only his fault. She could've tried to voice her opinion, seek confrontation, attempt to get things to work in a way they both liked. At the very least, that is what Julius liked to believe. In reality Julius is quite a bit more forceful than he likes to believe himself. Ultimately, the entire ordeal left a sour taste in Julius' mouth, and Addy leaving him had left a dent in his pride. Unfortunately for Addy, Jules was rather fond of his pride. In his head he had visualized all sorts of scenarios of her reaction to seeing him again. He had somewhat expected her signature nervous lip bite at the very least. Addy however chose for the coward's way out, followed by a middle finger. Julius had expected her to at least show a bit more of a spjne, at least in front of a friend. He looked at the swimming Addy, then at the girl she left behind, then back at Addy. One of his predictions had come true at least; this situation was horribly awkward. He got out of the water and walked towards the girl. It was probably smart to explain the situation to her at least a little bit. Not to mention, this girl was actually pretty cute. "Well... sorry about that." Jules said, trying to break the ice at least a little. How were you supposed to talk to someone who had just witnessed that? This girl, however, did not respond to him at all. She was looking elsehwere, somehwere part Julius. Before Jules could ask her anything he saw the girl falling over. Julius' reflexes were keen, and he caught her before he had even realised it. "Hey. You okay? He helped her back on her feet. Yet, this girl still hardly noticed him. Without giving him as much as a glance, she ran away from the pools. That were two girls in five minutes who had ran away from him. A new record surely. But no, he knew this girl hadn't fled from him. There was something else. He looked into the direction the girl had been looking, but he couldn't see anything special. There were quite a few people in that direction, among which were Addy and Jar. There was no real way for Jules to make out what exactly had happened. What he however did see was Addy clearly checking out his friend. You could just see by looking at them both that they definitely had more in common than he and Addy had ever had. Julius grinned, did she really think she could casually go check out other guys after what had just happened? Her choice would be a very unfortunate one, as she was about to find out. Julius casually made his way over to Jareth, trying to seem as unfazed as possible in regards to Addy's presence. However, he was sure that there was at least some irritation to be found within his expression. He tapped Jar's shoulder to get his attention. "I'm done with the pool. Shall we go find Hunter?" He didn't even give Addy as much as a glance, but he knew she would at least be watching if she had indeed been checking Jar out. He didn't want Addy, of all people, to get even remotely close to one of his friends. Not only that, he could find satisfaction in ruining her day just a little bit more. And surely, the realization that this was Jules' friend would do just that.
