[@LadyRunic] Hey I've been meaning to ask you something. In classic fae lore fairies are unable to tell a lie or break a promise though it doesn't stop them from being devious by using misdirection and tricky wording to mislead people. Evidently we're not doing the lying thing as more than one person has altered the truth to suit there character's motives but I was wondering whether a promise was literally binding like a True Name is binding or if it just considered bad form to break a promise with someone. Like if a fae made a promise to protect a human who they be almost literally forced to protect them or would they simply be obligated?
