[b]Personality:[/b] [color=silver]Most people tend to decide very quickly that Luca is either arrogant or foolish. Often, his tendency to run his mouth gets him into a lot of trouble. Even so, he prefers to solve problems with words rather than blades. When a situation gets serious so does he, and he is as adept at escaping tight spots as he is at getting himself into them. Though he has a fairly thick skin in turn, sometimes he just can't help lashing out when something or someone bothers him.

Luca doesn't make many friends, but he is rather loyal to the few people he truly trusts. Beyond that, the gleam of gold is all it ever takes to catch his eye.[/color]

[b]Backstory:[/b] [color=silver] Luca came Westward with a crew of his fellows, intending to find riches and fame in a new land. He served as first mate under an overconfident but skilled captain who had often led them to prosperous adventure. Unfortunately, this expedition ended in tragedy, when the ship was caught by a strong storm and dashed against the coast. Very few survived the wreck, including Luca and two others.

Since then, Luca has been living off the wealth he had been able to scavenge from the destroyed ship. Most of this has gone in pursuit of drink, and he is something of a drunk layabout these days. His coin is running out, however, and he needs something new to fill his pockets and maintain his lifestyle. It has been a while since he last stood on the deck of a ship, but he still knows how to handle a blade as well as a wheel.[/color]
