One night while she was sleeping, she had a nightmare and without realizing she had set her room on fire, it was when her father came into the room to wake her up was when she realized that the room was had been set ablaze. After that night her parents didn’t want to look at her again, they were very much against the use of magic. Even though it wasn’t Olivia’s fault, her parents still made it seem as though she could’ve prevented it had she tried harder. Her parents had forsaken their true nature and thus the accident that occurred because they had failed to tell Olivia what she was and what she should expect coming in the next few years. At age 11 Olivia was forced to go live with her grandparents after another fire incident happened. Living with her grandparents was like a dream; her grandmother taught her everything she needed to know about their family and how far back they went. Sometime later, a letter came in the mail addressed to Olivia. It was sent from Drelmont school of Wizardry. Confused as to why she’d receive a letter from a school she’d never heard of she opened the letter and began reading it. Filled with excitement she ran to her grandmother and grandfather, waving the letter in their face. After some careful consideration and against the wishes of Olivia’s parents her grandparents helped Olivia get all that she needed to start her new school. Two years passed since she started Drelmont and not a day has gone by that she has regretted her decision to stay and continue on her education.
