Ethel got increasingly bored as time went on, not helped by the fact that nobody of importance seemed to stroll on by. Not even Vincent, Ignia or Venwyn passed by... And those were pretty much the only people the girl had some form of knowledge of. She was about to give up, turning her head back to the elevator. Then a certain Light dorm student strolled by. Shinrei. They didn't take note of Ethel, nor anyone else for that matter, and seemed to hurry along at quite the pace. What was wrong with him...? Before the girl had much time to think about it, Shinrei had already gotten in the elevator. "Wait, no!" she fumbled out when noticing it's doors closing, quickly grabbing a card out of her deck box and throwing it towards the elevator. She'd intended to trigger it's motion sensors so the doors wouldn't close one someone who'd try to enter, but Ethel seemed to be a little late. Her card flew into the elevator, in front of Shinrei's feet, but didn't open the doors again. "Augh!" Ethel cried out in agony. Why, if only she'd just been a little faster...! The bluenette took out her deck to check which card was missing. Blackwing - Mistral the Silver Shield was gone... Damnit! Ethel needed that tuner... Sighing in defeat, Ethel returned to her room and put in the Jin - The Rain Shadow she'd swapped out earlier. It was certainly not as useful as Mistral, but a lot of choice for spare tuners she didn't have. Soon after the switch, Ethel locked up and left the dorm area for real now. Taking another elevator up, she'd figure someone had picked up the card by now and didn't bother trying to chase. Once arriving in the cafeteria, the girl clicked her tongue at how everyone had swarmed the place. The choice of food was again, varied in keeping with the subject material, but not varied in terms of the type of food. She walked up and took a fairly healthy mix of fruit and fatless flakes, adding in some soy milk to not make it bland. Ethel proceeded to scan the room for anyone of note. She took a tray off the side and walked a little while looking. Not very far in, a crowd of people surrounded a certain table... Where a boy was doing a handstand. And not any boy. A certain ninja from the light dorm. Needless to say, the girl actually got a ticked off by this. Someone so good at dueling they can beat her? They shouldn't be flaunting like this. Brushing some of her rogue hairs with her free hand, Ethel started moving to Venwyn at a moderate pace. Luckily the cafeteria was pretty spacey, so worming her way through crowds wasn't an issue. The ninja's table was before the bluenette's eyes in no time, her turning up her nose. "And what do you think you're doing?" She questioned Venwyn, actually considering shoving him out of the way for a split second. He was a respectable enough person, however, so she didn't have to go into extremes.
Haas was kind of... Swirling his cornflakes around without really taking any bites. He was watching the door for pretty much anyone to enter, but even the Earth dorm student's he'd talked to the day before didn't show. "*sigh* Man, I'm bored..." he complained. Haas decided to take a single bite out of the dry flakes in his bowl, finding the taste to be... Actually respectful. He closed his eyes and nodded contently, just in time for someone to scare him with a sudden "Hey." out of nowhere. Haas wanted to gasp in surprise, but he was in the middle of swallowing and well uh... Kinda... Choked. Hard. "*COUGH* UG- *COUGH COUGH* -H! *COUGH COUGH*" It didn't take long for Haas to regain his composure, but was a little teary eyed afterwards. "G-Guh... U-Uh, S-Sorry about that..." he apologized, knowing full well he made a fool out of himself. Haas tried to give a reassuring smile to show he was fine, even though the whole 'Choking on your cornflakes thing' from earlier looked pretty brutal. "I'm, uh, Haas. I didn't really uh, see you coming there." Haas introduced himself, bringing his fist to his chest once just to check if he didn't get anything stuck in his lungs. "Have I seen you around before?" the boy asked his mysterious visitor, trying to come over as friendly as possible. Behind his new companion was something else of interest, though. Tsukiko was leaning against a wall near the entrance, checking her deck. She didn't seem too incredibly lost in thought to Haas, so he grinned upon this new discovery. "Hey, I know that girl!" Haas eagerly told Nathan, pointing to Tsukiko. It'd be a pretty bad idea to just shout something out in the open, so instead, Haas opted to take a second option. "Wait a sec, I'll invite her to sit with us!" He told Nate with a smile, before jogging over to Tsukiko. "Hey, Tsukiko!" he greeted upon being close enough. The boy didn't want to leave his new friend for too long, so decided to make it brief... Even if the girl wasn't listening. "Hey, I noticed you just got here and I wanted to ask if you wanted to come sit with us. Even if you don't, that's fine!" the boy invited, with a blissfully unaware grin on his face. "I'll talk to you later either way, alright? Don't want to keep them waiting!" Haas departed with a quick nod, before running back over to his seat. He practically jumped back into it, rubbing the back of his head in a bit of embarrassment. "Sorry, I kinda get excited when I see people." Haas admitted, then took another spoon of his food before the stomach started to complain.
