Oh, that's cute. Gun thought as, mid-kinetic-sail, he activated his primary back thrusters and other appropriated verniers splayed across the Grim's hide to take off into the sky from his kinetic shunt. He had already suspected the nature of her tar-like substance, but now he had seen it in action, and could more properly gauge and plan his assault. Of course the decryptive and analytical nature of Seraph made diagnosing it far easier as all readily available physical and metaphysical information were transferred to him at thought-speed Tch, Metahumans. Filthy, the lot of 'em. Her vaunt of the ability to be disinterested however would find it had no combative application here as her beam would meet the wall of Negative coated javelins, only to resist in fleeting obsolescence for a moment before being consumed. Whatever that was left of the ebon mass was violently jettisoned around the weapons as harmless radiation via Negative's particular qualities when interacting with esoteric matter. With the consummation of foreign energies complete, though they had lost their Negative coating in the process, the spears lost no impetus in the exchange and continued unabated in their extra-sonic flight. And those were only the semantics revolving around two colliding energy types. He still had quite a bit to work with beyond the all-purpose utility of Negative. Though he wouldnt quite have the time to relish in its novelty. As the beam and javelins would meet, Gun reached the zenith of his stoic ascent before beveling out into a glide. The rail-shotgun slid and clanked back into itself and vanished into the space it came from as S-cells were practically bled into the space surrounding him. Just as quickly as the shotgun had vanished did two new weapons now taken up residence in Gun's hands as two, five-foot foldable barreled Material Cannons slid from under his arms before armored appendages smoothed into an iron grip on their trigger handles before pulling each. Bang. The on-board matter compressor pooled raw materials(various metals containing carbon nanotubes) from the E.A., smashing them together into a massive(mathematically speaking), but pebble sized 'bullet', that when ejected would function no different than a regular bullet. However, on mental command or when met with sufficient opposition, the shunted object would release a great portion of that stored mass, resulting in the violent decomposition of the body. One of which that would release great stores of concussive force with it, sending hypersonic metal shrapnel in all directions, and in that sense, functioned as a twin set of infinitely more accurate grenade-launcher-meets-rifle. And there were two of them seeking to pop her head like a quark, if not splatter her all over the nice canyon walls.
Note 1: Gun is still pulling in psionic potential as of this post. Note 2: There is no response to Bita's question because as of the current timeline(the negative coated blades not being thwarted) the dialogue would have never occurred. Note 3: When the mass of the compacted metal expands, it grows to around 40x its regular size, which is to say about 5 feet across.
