Jejomar Salinas
Interacting With: Everyone at the party. Specifically Murphy and Claire[@Lady Amalthea]
Jejomar had asked several nights before whether it was possible that he could hook up the karaoke machine to their television. They initially said no but he argued that at the time that they were having the part, there would be no games on. And so, after some polite conversation, they have in and said that he could. He fiddled with the wire, letting the karaoke screen spring into life. It was your usual karaoke waiting screen, pictures of waterfalls and parks with yellow text saying "WELCOME TO PORTABLE KARAOKE. CHOOSE SONG." He had let Murphy shift through the song directory beforehand so he had an idea of what song he wanted. Jay let out a sigh. He would have to confront Nat and Echo, the former to apologise what a mess he made and the latter to apologise about getting drunk and beating someone. He would also need to say sorry to Ed in the hospital. "Are you going to apologise?" Silence. He walked towards Murphy and asked what song he had chosen. When he pointed at a name, all he could do was raise an eyebrow. What a man wanted was what a man wanted, he guessed. He picked up the microphone and went into full airplane captain mode. He tilted his fedora forward to cover his face, mostly because of the amount of eyes that would be staring at him when he made the announcement. He cleared his throat to get his friends attention. "Ladies and Gentlemen, may I please have your attention. Please note that the exits are that way." Jejomar paused and pointed to the door on his right. "If you feel that the evening has become very unenjoyable for you. Also note the fact that this is an Open Mic session, meaning that Mr. Murphy here will be singing until someone else grabs the microphone. Anyone, and I mean anyone, can join the karaoke session at any time. Duets and group songs will need to be cleared by me first. Thank you for listening and I now present to you 'Irishman Murphy' singing 'Anything by Flogging Molly'." He stepped away from the limelight and stood next to Claire while Murphy put the code on his microphone. The Filipino raised an eyebrow to find that the Irish girl was seemingly praying, craning her head to look at the ceiling. "Hey," He began softly as Murphy began singing "do you think we did the right thing? What d-did I do to him?color]" He had so many questions but one was on the forefront of his mind. What does Echo think of him? It was selfish but he couldn't help but feel that the party was ruined because of him and that he ruined it with the shy girl. He needed to go and talk to her but he didn't know where she was. When Murphy started singing however, he was stupified. How can someone be that bad!? All thoughts vanished from his mind as his brain focused on numbing the nerves in his ears so he wouldn't be able to hear most of it.
