Personality: He's proud of himself and all that he has learned.  He likes to teach others what he knows, though it's more to show off than because he wants to be nice.

History/Bio:  He grew up as the son of a merchant, working a stand which made and sold medicines of various kinds.  His father even taught him how to read and write, and how to make poisons, which his father told him to be careful who he revealed that skill to.
He spent much of his time in the temple of Hecate, goddess of herbal medicine and poisons.  One day a woman approached him, and questioned him as to whether he was serious in his devotion.  When he said yes, she revealed herself and touched his chest, writing runes upon his skin.  When he woke up and few minutes later, he had a torch tattooed on his hand, though when he wished to hide it, it disappeared.  "You are now my servant." the woman said, "for I am Hecate."  She taught him to use his new power, then sent him to meet another group of people who had been blessed by other gods.
