So... I've got this old character that I made as an NPC for another roleplay and stuff like that. I want to give him some love. He's been in my mind for more than five years and he just keeps growing in there. The information is messy because it's constructed from old IC posts, OOC posts, earlier descriptions of him for this same type of RP (with dropping partners) and so on. It's been written bit by bit over the past five years. You can just shoot me a PM if you're interested or has questions you need answered in order to know if you'll be interested or not. The plot itself is actually what I've got the least idea about, since I want to allow you (as my partner) to have as much creative freedom as possible when it comes to making your character. All I really have is the fact that my character (Elias) is married to a sweet and caring woman, who is just too nice to give him what he craves and allows him to seek it elsewhere. As Elias is pansexual, either sex/gender would work just fine. He does tend to prefer sexual interaction with men, but is more satisfied with being dominated by women. Who and what status your character would have is entirely up to you, but you would be playing the role of his "lover", I suppose. Since he is already married and of royal blood, their interactions would have to be kept a secret as to not cause a scandal. It may eventually bloom into something more, if we both wish for it, and the whole "battle" of a divorce and such can be played out. You can also (if you so wish) play the role of his wife, attempting to please her man and his preferences. He has a history of frequenting prostitutes, shady bars, seeking company among lonely soldiers and even passing through the gates to the human world for entertainment.
The world is divided into two "dimensions". The human world and the magical world. Although the magical world is well aware of the existence of humans, the humans are far less aware of the existence of magic. It requires magic to pass between the two worlds. For the "Magical World", I'm thinking High Fantasy, with all sorts of magics and creatures, and in a pseudo-medieval sort of setting; where the lands are ruled by Kings, sons work for their fathers and women are nothing without a husband. We will focus mainly on one country, where the ruling family are High Elves with their castle build in the Great, Walled City of Earoldir. The Council have one member of each other species/race of magical in the country. The city itself is bustling with all types of people. The Earoldian Castle is smack dab in the middle of the city, surrounded by beautiful gardens, with walls dividing them from the inner circle. The inner circle is reserved for those of noble blood and the ones rich enough to pretend to be. The Central Circle is for the common-folk; the working men and women who live by what they earn and only earn enough to live by. The Outer Circle is for those with little to nothing to their names and where the Guards never wander, with the result of crime gathering there as well. The "Human World" would be pretty much like the one we live in, with the exception of a few stray magicals roaming about. Certain things would have been brought to the "Magical World" from the "Human World", because why live without them when they are readily accessible (i.e. medicines, electricity, condoms) That's the basics of it, anyways. What do you think? Pretty cliché, I know, but clichés are such for a reason

Since Elias was originally an NPC in another story, with his younger sister being my main, I didn't really have a lot about him. It was a scandal that caused outrage throughout the entire country when the news of the King's choice in spouse were announced. The Council, all members alike, declared that they would in no way allow the union of the two. The woman he had chosen was a human. A human who had grown up in the human world, even. The King wanted not only to make this woman his wife, but for her to rule alongside him as Queen. Needless to say that the Council was far from satisfied with this. They began negotiations with their King right away. By the time the young human woman got pregnant, they still had not reached a compromise they could both agree on. Neither had they when she gave birth. By the time she sneaked away from the castle, leaving her infant son behind, it really did not matter much anymore. Then the negotiations on the son's rights began. The King, obviously, wanted his son to be crowned if he was to pass. The Council wanted no such thing. Eventually, the boy was allowed his place as a royal, but was stripped of his rights for the crown. The boy grew up as any royal would; never needing a thing. He had all the toys and things he could possibly want, but he could feel that even the servants that scrubbed the dirt from his feet thought him a lowly half-blood. When he was just beginning puberty, his father married; an Elven noble woman that looked at her new stepson with nothing but repulsion. A year later, he became an older brother. It was the best day of his young life and he spend most of his days with his little sister. Even as he aged into adulthood and his young sister had tea parties with poor maids, she still remained the most important person in his life. Even as he began messing around with women, he found that it did not please him as much as he wished. When he first began messing around with men, he found that he had certain preferences for pain. It was a rich merchant simply passing through that had Elias first realize just what his preferences were. The man was anything but gentle, his words were anything but sweet and the way he hissed out his title as if it was a curse trust upon him made every never in his body tingle.

High Elves are an elegant, dexterous and agile in their movements, whether it be running, jumping, fighting or even falling, they make it all look graceful like a dance. Humans are intelligent, creative and stubborn. They know what they want and they will get it, whatever it takes. Pure-born High Elves have platinum blond hair and ice blue eyes. However, this is not Elias case. From his Elven linage, he has pointed ears; although his ears are nowhere as long long as that of a High Elf would normally be. It is basically just a normal human ear, with a slight point at the top. He has elegant, regal even, features as well as a slender, acrobatically build body. From his Human linage, he has chub at his sides from living a rich life, defined muscle, a wider nose than what Elves usually have and an unusual hair color. Elves are a very magical creature, and High Elves in particular are very magically capable. The magics of which an High Elf can muster is everything between calling upon the healing force of nature to casting deadly fireballs at their foes. They tend to only be able to go one way or another, though, or the magic gets a bit unpredictable. Elias has very few people in his life that he cares for, and just as few that cares for him. His father, Condor, the King of Earoldir, does care for him, despite how things may appear to the outside world. Little things, like a reassuring hand on the shoulder or an encouraging pat on the back has taught Elias that his father is just not the best at showing that he cares. His stepmother, Lovina, never did think much of her half-breed of a stepson and on several occasions inquired that perhaps Elias would be more comfortable living somewhere else, away from the disapproving gazes of the elves that roamed the halls of the castle. She was right, of course, but her intentions were anything but sincere. She does care dearly for her daughter, though, so Elias finds it hard to hate her. His younger sister, Anadia Nihmgor, is, and has been since the day og her birth, his ray of sunshine in a world that is cloudy at best. Despite the fact that she is now the heir to his rightful throne, he does not blame her for this fact. The only objection he has is the fact that she, just like he was, was thrust into a loveless marriage for the sake of their country and, in her case, the purity of the royal linage. Anadia is an adventurous, impulsive tomboy who used most of her childhood and teenage years sneaking out of the castle and into the city to experience the real world. His wife, Naomi, does hold a place in his heart, despite the fact that he would have a hard time using the word love to describe how he feels about her. She is a very kind and caring person and so naturally sweet that it is a wonder that everyone close to her still has teeth. She is well aware of Elias preferences and, due to being such a wonderful person, does not mind the fact that he seeks satisfaction in other places, as she cannot give him what he craves. Four years ago, he fathered a daughter by the name of Itaki. She is the gem of his eye and he considers her the best thing he ever did. She does not know where he father goes when he leaves their house and hopefully she never will. Skin Color: Elven pale Special Traits: Several scars across his back and sides; mostly lash-marks from a whip and a few burn scars from cigarettes and the like, as well as a series of scars across his left pectoral that reads “HUMAN” in morbidly jagged writing.

“The weather is rather gloomy today,” Naomi said softly, sitting by the large window in their bedroom, looking out at the gardens as she did every morning. To most, she was a beautiful woman; with her soft, round features, fuzzy, almost-white hair and piercing, but warm and gentle eyes. She had yet to dress; her lithe form still covered only by the thin layer of silk of which her elegant nightgown had been sown. She was picture perfect, right down to her soft smile. Elias was still on the bed, his crimson hair sprawled on his pillow like the follicles were blood leaking from his skull. Per Naomi's request, he wore both pants and shirt to bed, despite that he preferred sleeping in the nude; his scars made her uncomfortable. He could clearly remember the look of pure horror in her eyes when he had first removed his shirt near her; he had warned her of them, of course, but they were far worse than anything her innocent imagination could ever conjure up. He only grunted in acknowledgment that his wife had spoken to him, but had nothing to say on the matter. He was gazing lazily at the ceiling, where some extravagant painting of a river always made him scoff; it was rather racist of his father to think that Naomi would like paintings of water, merely due to the fact that she was a water nymph. Of course, he could not very well asked it changed to something that he would find fitting in a bedroom. “Love,” Naomi began, and Elias felt like someone had reached into his chest to squeeze his heart as it constricted painfully at the nickname, “Are you going today?” There was not an ounce of disgust in her voice; she had come a long way since they were first married all those years ago. She usually never asked him where he went during his days, unless she had something planned herself. Sometimes, she would do things without him and asked to make sure he did not plan for them to spend the day together and sometimes she asked because she wanted for them to spend the day together. Naomi really did love him, he knew this very well. She often whispered her affections to him in the veil of darkness the night brought, but he could never bring himself to return the words. He could tell her that she was beautiful, how kind she was, how her skin tasted like the ocean and how good it felt to be with her. All of those things were true and he could not, for the life of him, bring himself to lie to the sweetest person he had ever met. He dew in a long breath and finally looked away from the racist ceiling to glance at his wife, hoping that he could read what she wanted in those gorgeous eyes of hers. All he saw was the warm smile playing on her lips as she ran her thin fingers through her sleep-rugged hair, still observing the gardens outside. He sat, a bit too quickly, and felt the skin of his back strain painfully against the fresh bruising he had received only the day before. He strangled the embarrassing groan that tried to make it way up his throat and it ended up coming out as merely a small whine. He saw one of Naomi's long ears twitch at the sound, but that was all the reaction she had. He was glad he did not have to explain anymore. Getting out of the bed was a rather slow process. His body ached and not in the good way. He could tell that Naomi was watching him and he could almost feel her pity and desire to help, but she restrained herself. Once he finally stood, he let out a long, deep sigh. “I'm not going anywhere today,” was his strained reply finally. Naomi let out a small, also inaudible sigh as she stood. She made so sound as she walked to her vanity and slipped one of her hands into the bowl of water that was meant for her to wash her face with. As she drew her hand back up, the water clung to it in a glowing bubble. “Take off your shirt,” she ordered, but even an order spoken with her soft voice and sweet nature sounded like praise. Elias obeyed immediately, mostly on instinct, and drew the soft fabric over his head to toss it in a pile of the floor. He heard his wife emit a startled gasp and he felt a bit worried about just how bad it appeared. He knew it had to be pretty bad for him to actually feel it, since he was so used to the aftermath of his preference. “Love,” she spoke again and it tugged on Elias' heartstrings once more, “I think she may have overdone it a bit this time.” The disgust in her tone was overwhelming and he had an urge to go look in the mirror. As soon as she saw him moving, Naomi was by his side, water splashing to the ground as she released her spell to support her husband instead. His stomach did a flip and he felt dizzy as bile rose in his throat. His back looked awful. There were deep cuts from the whip, dark purple around the rims and crusted with dried blood. In a few places, he could see the the bone of his shoulder blades peeking free. He never did like looking at the fresh wounds, but he could not remember a time where the bone had been exposed before. He reached up and lifted his hair, where his neck was usually hidden by his ponytail, and grimaced at the bruising around the many small puncture wounds on either side of where his spine connected to his skull. He twisted to look at his chest, which was pretty much unmarred, save for the morbid skin alteration on his left pectoral where the word human had been carved into the muscle. He ran his fingers lightly over the letters, enjoying the feel of the scar beneath his finger pads. “Naomi, darling, would you wind fetching my sister for me?” was his only request. His wife only gave a curt nod before pretty much running out of the room.
Here are some sketches of mine from way back when I first made him.
